Bomb everything! A lot of hidden bombable paths are unmarked.I've obtained the bomb item now, and I think I know just the place to use 'em

It's uncle in my case, taught me everything there is to vidya gaming, the most vivid memory I have is him playing Chocobo Dungeon and left all the decision to me while he is doing the control, he explained why such and such magic work/doesn't work, how to read a map etc. He did the same thing for other games too.Random fact- one of my nicer memories with my dad was watching him play ff7 and pointing out what he was fighting in a strategy guide before I could read.
I believe I still have notes for cheats for GTA Vice City somewhere around here, I'll post when I find it.I wish physical games still came with manuals. These notes I made while playing through the first Resident Evil still make me chuckle.
I tried to write them somewhat cryptically, because I thought that's how you write hints

There's a lot of things I miss about physical manuals, or hell, really manuals in general. I spent so much time looking through manuals for neat official art, character bios, the occasional tip or trick, story things not really clearly talked about in game, etc. My personal favorite game manual still might be the manual for Twisted Metal Black. It's stylized to be the manual of the character No-Face, so between pages of typical game manual things, you get notes and characterization on him, which is really cool.I wish physical games still came with manuals. These notes I made while playing through the first Resident Evil still make me chuckle.

Definitely built the hype before playing something new. I used to pour over the item descriptions and character sheets and illustrations. I remember really liking the DOOM (PSX) manual, I've got that around here somewhere...and on another tangent, the music in that version is really atmospheric. I burnt it to a disc to listen to it separately.I used to love reading them on the car ride home.
Sadly I doubt physical games will be sold at all after the next generation. Never say never though, we may see a return of manuals and the like! I'd be all for it.I miss manuals alot![]()
PSX Doom is a pretty great version of Doom. I played through a PC version of it not too long ago. The Doom 2 monsters and super shotgun in Doom 1 is worth it by itself.Definitely built the hype before playing something new. Well, also doesn't help that at this point theres barely a reason to buy a console cause pc ports are now more commonSadly I doubt physical games will be sold at all after the next generation. Never say never though, we may see a return of manuals and the like! I'd be all for it.

Too true. Now that third party controller's are starting to get more robust support on PC, I can play 99% of console releases, with my preferred controllers, with Spotify, with mods and with whatever customisation options that consoles just can't offer. Oh, and I can also just switch to my web browser, which modern consoles no longer offer.Well, also doesn't help that at this point theres barely a reason to buy a console cause pc ports are now more common
honestly if you make an edit of ja rule's face and slap it on a brown egg it still wouldn't look off
Unfortunately while I can't really be too confident that manuals will be coming back anytime soon, I can with some confidence say that I don't think physical games are going anywhere. At least, not anytime soon. Physical sales actually make up a pretty significant amount of game sales still, though it does vary from company to company and game to game. I know about a year ago about 60% of Sony's first party games sales came from physical sales. There's also a lot of data that shows a significant chunk of sales that come from the digital side of the market come from things that are only able to be bought digitally, like DLC and in-game currency. It's not the majority of sales in that sector or anything, but it's also not something that only people who by digitally will get either. Unless the general decline in physical games sales continues, or if the major companies were confident that people would be largely willing to make the switch to all digital, I don't think they'll make the push. Unless they just scrap consoles and port everything to PC, but I don't really see that happening either.Sadly I doubt physical games will be sold at all after the next generation. I definitely didn't expect that number to be so high. I've always been a big proponent of owning physical media, but I currently own less than 10 PS4 games and exactly 0 PS5 games. Everything is digital now, because if the convenience, and because of online sale prices. In my town we used to have 4 video game stores. 2 for all the modern releases, with a few retro bits here and there, and 2 for retro and second-hand only. Now all that's left is 1 that sells some old and some new, amongst DVD's and other tat, and a new shop that specialises in Retro stuff up to sixth console generation.... maybe it's just around these parts thoughI know about a year ago about 60% of Sony's first party games sales came from physical sales.
Hmm, is that a cup of pee? Lagit asking as i do not know why i am cringing so hard..We’re acting good Mahito, besides the bleeding guy laying to the side with an unhinged jaw.

There's not a lot of full video game stores in my area anymore that aren't either GameStop or something selling retro games in my area either, but most Walmarts in my area still carry physical games and you can often find them in media resale stores too. If you can find a Best Buy they also usually carry physical games still, but those are getting a little rarer. It's also not usually too difficult to get physical games online as long as you're not pre-ordering.I definitely didn't expect that number to be so high.
