Which user would you go on a date with?

I'd rather hear about everyone else's day. Did anyone in the States get those massive storms yesterday?
Yeah I've been hearing about those... Hopefully nobody here got hit too badly.

Well, who's gonna be the commentator?
I've been meaning to sign up to one of your races! I wanna drive the Fred Flintstone car (if that's allowed?)
What have you done with for someone you talked and...
Hang Out/Like/Date?

If that's the case,
do you feel it made a change on you?
Last hang out I arranged was a pub lunch with a work friend. It was a good experience but neither of us were looking for more than friendship (we play for different teams, so to speak...)

A bit of a long story but I'll try to keep it brief. In my first semester of bachelors I was a bit nervous, talking to only those who spoke my language, completing my assignments, stuff like that, until my teacher decided to create groups for our first project. The groups had cool guys and I started to open up a bit. We exchanged pleasantries, worked together, all and all it was going good. We got the assignments completed and were remarked for our effort. I still have their numbers.

In another class, the teacher didn't assign any groups, instead it was a individual project. In this class I met new people from different places again. This time I only helped them out in their projects when they were stuck on something. I got the title "Professor" due to helping out the students there even though I didn't understand or knew what I myself was doing, even among the friends I was with. I was happy in helping out everyone as a means of getting to know and understand their cultures, language, origins, having a few laughs stuff like that.

Before the end of the semester I asked for their numbers and name. They happily gave their numbers. One of them, said that they don't exchange numbers with anyone, for me they made an exception saying that I was a good person... That wasn't a response I've heard for a long time. I said Thank you and they gave their number.

I don't think it changed me, only made me better. To strive to be better then my previous self.

So yeah, that's about it I suppose. Thanks you reading .😅

Hope everyone's having a double donny Saturday. 🤠

I've gotten up to World 7-3 on Super Mario Bros (warpless) and I might just be getting scrubby in my old age but damn! This game's hard to beat without save states or warp pipes!
I've swapped to Metroid for a change of pace. Never played it before so should be fun!

What's everyone up to?
Gotta wash the car, watch some animes, might finish up Like an Assassin's Creed IV featuring Goro from Yakuze series later if today mp gaming session is cancelled.

We already went on countless adventures and crazy hijinks it's hard to pick just one. Rather than a change, I think all those experiences help shaped me to become what I am today.

Is Yakuza: Black Flag Gaiden living up to the hype? Been seeing alot of praise thrown at it, not quite as much as Like a Dragon: Like a Dragon but more than Like a Dragon: Ishin!

...Clear as mud

I think so, been enjoying it so far, sure there are some parts that could be better but I feel there are a lot of improvements as well, especially for the pacing.

Doesn't matter if it's real or fictional, as long as it can drive/hover on land.
I'm doing a special Free-For-All race (That's now delayed to next Saturday) where weapons are allowed.
Hope you're ready!

Playing Metroid, running around without the slightest fucking clue what to do, and I've just read that to progress I have to fire 5 missiles at a specific door, that gives no indication it is even being affected by them (I fired 3 rockets at it about an hour ago and nothing happened so I stopped trying cos I only have 10)

Makes me want to eat my own head

Finishing Metroid NES blind years ago is still one of my proudest game accomplishments. Cryptic doesn't begin to describe it.

Nicely done. 😎 I'm annoyed at myself for looking it up, but I'd have been proper sour if I'd wasted even more of my weekend looking for an alternative route, only to find out the solution was something I'd already tried, that yielded no results the first time around....

Just gonna cross my fingers the path forward is clearer from here on out (but I ain't gonna hold my breath)

Random fact- one of my nicer memories with my dad was watching him play ff7 and pointing out what he was fighting in a strategy guide before I could read.
The rules! In a similar vein, you just jogged a memory in me of watching my Dad do the torture sequence in MGS1. He used his ring finger (who tf uses their ring finger to button mash?) 😆

Funnily enough I had a very similar experience with my Mom and FF8. She had me control the battles though, and read the options out loud, basically using it to teach me to read. (We also used other games and non video games too, but still, FF8 was one of the more common games we played.)
