What did you learn today? ?

Lmao, no way man
Car batteries are  expensive, probably one of the most expensive parts of the whole car
I was figuring like $125 and then the guy said $239. But you gotta have it, so what are you gonna do?

1. Air can fill your stomach but it doesnt satiate you .

2. Dogs that bark , aint no cats .

3. Butter doesnt replace guns .

4. Hitting someone with an baseball-bat doesnt count as an homerun but attempted murder .

5. You can salt the ground .

6. A straw in any drink qualifies instantly as an Cocktail .
(some rando in a party told me ... he seems wise ... and drunk too )

7. You can pepper the ground .

8. The floor truly is made out of floor .

9. Claymore mines arent pets .

10. Eating a Hot dog doesnt make you hot , dawg .

11. Hating the color red is allowed .

12. Dr.Pepper aint Plutonium

13. Bananas are worst guns to use .

14. You are allowed to breath air .

15. Throwing knifes at someone doesnt count as sending death threats .

16. Tabasco aint a gun but is still effective otherwise .

17. Killing someone with a plushie doesnt kill someone softly . Its cold-hearted murder .

That crocheting is HAAAAARD.

I learned that the forum locks you out of threads you created yourself, if they don't want it to continue. Possibly locked others from replying too.

Hi @job32 , while it is true that threads can be locked and/or deleted to prevent further replies, I can confirm that none of your threads are locked and that you have no active warnings.

The only threads that you may currently be unable to respond to are threads that have been locked for everybody, due to them containing content that goes against the rules of the forum.

I learnt that the Swedish Consumer Agency wants to ban telemarketing, and I've never been more supportive of a motion to ban something in my entire life.

Quoting (translated) from their own article:
Telemarketing deprives the consumer of initiative and control over both what to buy and when to buy. The consumer is caught off-guard and unprepared by an eager salesperson who usually only has one product to sell. The business method is problematic in its basic design and the conditions for absorbing information and considering one's needs are substandard, regardless of whether the regulations are followed or not.

car x drift 2 is coming out at some stage got a trailer on youtube. the first one is a nice chill game to play.

I have learned from life that I must accept my weaknesses and flaws, essentially for two reasons: to know myself better to constantly improve, to be stronger and to live in peace with my fellow human beings...
Well said!

TWO things:
  1. Nothing in this world is as hard as you think. It only takes time and dedication. I learned how to fix my on Laptop and understand tech terms a lot better
  2. Not every person who "fights" is your enemy, and not every person who "helps" you is your friend

That’s exactly how things are… there’s a Latin proverb attributed to Ovid that says: “Bene vixit qui bene latuit…” In plain words, to be on the safe side, live hidden, never revealing too much of yourself to others, because one day your weaknesses might turn into the daggers your enemies will use against you… Having said that, I’ve met some truly kind and caring people here, and that’s why I feel comfortable here!

Thanks. Seems to be working now, was a glitch in the matrix, I suppose.

I learned that transferring car titles from my dad to me isn't super involved, and also learned what I need to do for each of them:
- Blazer: title is moved over, is mine now
- 66 impala: title moved over, is mine now
- Harley: needs exact odometer, then it can be moved over easily
- 64 Nova: is mine, but has been on Non-Op for years. Can register if I want (I don't atm)
- 67 Camaro: has fallen out of the system, needs mobile VIN verification and then we can do it.

I learned all of this and did the transfers on the first two in about twenty minutes. I was expecting to be there for hours. So what I've also learned today is that I have time to take a nap.

I learned that people can be just shitheads despite on whether its met with a gain or a loss. Though there being a gain, especially if its an arduous one such as being championed in certain groups or circles, is something I still haven't figured out yet.
