Tails Adventures

Here’s a fan-made patch that converts Tails Adventures from the Game Gear to the Master System.The screen map was cleaned up from leftover 'garbage'. The password and equipment menus were fixed, the credits background was widened by one tile and the text was updated, and Tails’ graphics were slightly altered.

An updated version, known as the SMS Deluxe (v1.5c) patch, goes further: it fixes visual glitches such as map borders, improves color palettes for many enemies, enhances graphics for water and other elements, adjusts camera limits and warp triggers, and replaces the password system with a save system for a smoother experience.

That sounds awesome! At the end of Frontiers Tails did say he wanted to go on his own adventure.

Wait, SAGE changed its name since when?

Of course we see many non-Sonic related fangames in there. I'm almost wondering why it couldn't get renamed with something not including Sonic (or maybe it stands for Super Game Amateur Expo or something).

I didn't know about that. But yeah, I'd recommend them. They were short, but pretty cheap and fun from what I remember.

I just want to tell that I'm not complaining because indie devs are allowed to develop non-Sonic fangames (to be able to profit from their work), just that the name could be misleading and that I was mostly following those expos for Sonic things.

Still neat to see some of those coming to Steam.

alot of them are Sonic adjacent though. You have the boost games, the 2D platfomers, and for some reason some Mario stuff snuck in there but if Mario had a fan direct, Nintendo would lose it and go after them too.
