Also i haven't checked properly so excuse me if it was posted before but speaking of quint, this remade ost is top notch from "his game" and both hackroms featuring him as the MC are also very nice, so why not give it a bit of publicity with the rest of the readers of the thread. (btw 2 isn't out yet tho and dunno when if it will ever be released)

Does anyone here remember the late MegaManX9.com and the Capcom Unity forums? There were a lot of interesting discussions on both of them, but unfortunately they ended up being closed some years ago. As far as I'm aware, none of the forums were ever archived; it's sad that they're likely lost to time now.

Anyway, I finally replayed all of the Mega Man World games with their respective colorization patches, as I had planned a long time ago.

My opinion of Mega Man World 1 improved a bit. People say it's hard, but I find it manageable, a few tough spots aside. It's definitely a lot more enjoyable than Mega Man World 3.

Speaking of Mega Man World 3, fuck that game. Without save states, it's an utter nightmare. It might actually be one of my least favorite Mega Man games, up there with Mega Man 9 and R&F Mirai kara no Chousensha.

Mega Man World 4 is even better than I remember. If it weren't for Mega Man World 5 and Crystal Man's stage, it would easily be my favorite of the bunch.

Mega Man World 5 is still the best and better than half of the mainline titles.

Mega Man World 2 exists, I guess.

afaik nothing has been done relevant enough, maybe there's a qol hack like the CDI zelda games but i'd need to check.

Mega Man Timelines #1 Mini-review

I didn't like this one as much as Mega Man Timelines #1, and it's not just because it's Mega Man X. Instead of telling an original story, this issue retells part of Mega Man X1's story, with X going through Chill Penguin's stage and fighting him. Because of that, the story felt way too "gamey" and a lot less interesting. Some of the dialogue is kind of clunky, and X is as whiny as ever (which might actually be a good thing for the comic, since it's in-character). The art is good, though, and the Maverick Hunter X Navigators cameo is appreciated.
