There is nothing wrong with the controls on the Nintendo Wii. I figured it out on my own by just playing games and I never had trouble with any motion-based games or aiming the Wii remote on screen. People just need to get better. I read people that had a hard time playing Zelda Skyward Sword and I never once struggled swinging the blasted sword. Games that require precision like Wii Sports Resort sword fighting minigame or Ghost Squad's aiming is something people struggled; and yet I do it just fine with or without WiiMotion Plus.
True, using motion controls is really not that big of an issue in it self for most people. My problem is with forced motion controls. Games that arbitrarily have no other control options, just motion controls.
Even though said options could have been added. I think having the option would be amazing, not to mention necessary for those with disabilities, mobility or joint or wrist issues.

It's why you see so many people complaining about the motion controls in a precision platformer like DKC Returns, and happy for putting in traditional controls for the 3DS and Wii ports.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't the controls on DK Country Returns just shaking the Wii Remote? I remember all the motion controls were basically moving the remote up and down, like an Italian mobster shaking an American laundromat owner for protection funds.

Or wait the special or champion edition. It's what I did with SFV. $30 was.
I'm less fan of SFV but I'm glad they have slowed down the updated re-releases because Super SF IV was basically selling the same game again and not a DLC...

I agree and disagree with that statement:

Sure, I don't mind using motion control for Wii Sport/Wii Play, rail shooters and other games that plays better with it.

But I still think that it was unnecessary to force the player to shake the wiimote for the spin jump in Mario Galaxy or attack in Zelda TP when one button could've done the same. I don't like how you need to shake in Kirby RTDL (although spamming the d-pad has a similar effect) or DKC Returns to do some simple actions that you often do, it gets tiring after a while.

Skyward Sword has many flaws beyond its motion control.

The Switch port for DKC:R and Kirby RTDL having classic button control was a good idea imo.

DK Country Returns just shaking the Wii Remote?
Yes, and that's part of the major problem. The shaking is used for a rolling jump and it is not always 1 to 1, even with motion plus. That control method has caused more than a few unnecessary deaths in fast pace levels or hard platforming stages. Don't even me started if it's an enemy or an obstacle that can kill you in one hit, and you died, because the Wii mote didn't register in the specific way it already asked it to.

This I agree, but for Mario Galaxy you only had around 3 buttons and shaking the remote didn't detract you from platforming. Twilight Princess, I agree a 100%. Could have been its own button like the Gamecube or the WiiU.

Unless you played for extremely long sessions I didn't get tired playing, But I only play around 2-4 hours at a time.

Oh Yeah definitely. ::thumbsupwario

They should have let the user bind its own control scheme or at least use the 1 and 2 buttons simultaneously

I do think that the spin could've been used with a button if you used the Classic controller.

Many Wii games could've retroactively been compatible with the Classic or Pro one.

Kirby games are fairly short but I do think that this could've been fixed with one dedicated button.

Sonic Unleashed on the Wii was made with the wiimote shaking in mind (for the boosting which explains why it's one massive boost by pressing the button instead of just being able to control the length like on the PS360 and other boost games), the Gamecube and Pro Controller have their own control scheme for the werehog while the left and right arms were supposed to use the wiimote and nunchuck swinging.

They should have let the user bind its own control scheme or at least use the 1 and 2 buttons simultaneously.
It's just me but I think they should've had 4 buttons on that side of the wiimote imo.

I love both Castlevania shows, but i don't like season three of the first tv series. This is not much of a hot take as both shows did great, but you have some of the vocal minority that never knows when to shut up or are only there for the clickbait and grifting.

DMC Netflix is just ok, and I still prefer it over 2007 anime, Bayonetta: Bloody Fate, and DmC's story. I get why people don't like this one, but it's not the end of the world. Please note I am not making any excuses for the director in charge of DMCN. Hate him as much as you want. Dude doesn't know when to shut up either.

Ive watched up till they defeated Dracula and it was more than enough for me. I heard they added characters from CV Curse of Darkness. But they didnt delve into that respective game and that was disappointing

I've heard. Understandable. It wouldn't have bothered me even if I ever did play the game at some point. I still recommend watching the third and fourth season or just getting a cliff notes version of the third season, and go straight to season four. It has really heartwarming ending that I love.

I only care for the Superbowl because of the commercials

Day 1 DLC is still worse, because it has almost certainly been taken out of the game arbitrarily for additional profit, but I'm also not a fan of DLC that releases years after a game comes out.

It's a more honest practice, developing and releasing DLC well after the base game release, but I've potentially also been done with that game for a long time and may struggle getting back into it to justify buying said DLC.

See Beyond the Dawn & Shadow of the Erdtree for Tales of Arise & Elden Ring respectively. Two games I adored and played to death around when they came out, but would have to dedicate a whole additional playthrough to get caught up for the DLC expansions.

Battle Angel Alita (2019) is the best live action adaption of anime/manga ever made.

Replying to a post with multiple giant-ass images because you're too lazy to resize them, and also apparently too lazy to just type words, should be immediate one-day reader time. Learn how to use a forum, you savages. [edit - it is fine for OPs, specificially if it's about actual photography]

We don't talk about that one. Never. The Magic Begins is fine though.

Zelda is overrated.

the only good 3D zelda games are Majora's Mask and (less so) Ocarina of time. Every other 3D Zelda is incredibly flawed and while I understand why people enjoy them I have no idea why games like the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are considered "Masterpieces".

Twilight Princess
Midna.... She is peak female companion.

As for Wind Waker, even though it did well at the time, there were people (be they insecure Nintendo fans or legit haters of anything Nintendo) who were hating on it for not looking "realistic/mature enough" and too "cartoony". I held no interest in a majority of zelda games but I never hated WW. It's a good game but people went into the other direction to defend it, because there was so much blind hatred and insecurity from the western side to begin with.

The rage baiters don't have your back anymore than the corpos they want you to hate. This isn't me coming to the defense of video game corporations either, but these "content" creators want you to hate developers who are either just doing their job or can't, or don't make all of the actual important decisions, nor financial decisions. Thank you Eyepatch Wolf.

Megaman 2 is a huge stankin' piece of shit, and people love it for all the wrong reasons

"IMO"

I genuinely can't stand any of the Sonic Advance games. Both their framerate and music are far too crunchy for my liking.
