They don't look badass, they simply look like they slept first in the sleepover, if you want to make a girl look badass and give her a fitting hair, just make her hair look messy and make it simply short, like you know someone that has frequent fights for her life.

Even women in the military aren't shaved that close to the scalp (as long as hair doesn't go below the neck and the forehead it's regulatory).

Ellen Ripley in Alien and Aliens is a great example (Alien 3 had her shaved but in the context everyone had to get that shaving, it's not just her deciding she didn't need any).


I'd even say that it's a massive shame that writers and designers assumed that for a woman to be a strong character she had to forfeit anything remotely feminine (which can almost be seen as an unconsciously sexist mindset from those writers).

Modern writers haven't understood that you can write a female character who's more nuanced than just being "strong" (which is also a relative term because it's not all about physical strength) so nowadays we have "unidimensional" characters and I also think that it has done harm than good.

Just check how Mary Sues are and how characters lacking any flaws can be detrimental to a story.

I always assumed that the time left was for the "current step" of the process before the drying one but I do agree that they should give us the remaining time for the whole thing.

Unless it's like a loading screen where the time is uneven.

I find it funny that Introverts complain a shit ton about "Extroverts" on the internet when most of the time these Introverts are closed off IRL like if you want to stay quiet fine but don't think you are superior or some ultra mega smart being just because you like to sit alone in a corner

The internet seems to adore and praise Introverted traits while bashing and looking down on Extroverted traits it's weird there are people who find elitism in such things.....

Anyway, I also believe that the whole introvert/extrovert thing is dubious scientifically speaking. It creates an artificial dichotomy among people when I believe that things are much more nuanced and that humans are too complex in their mind to be reduced to two categories.

Trueeee introverts online wouldn't talk much and mostly observe , that's just socially awkward people trying to justify themselves being socially inept.

No i don't think reducing humans to two categories is the intent of this introvert/extrovert it's mainly a thing about young people and their behavior in social circles i don't really believe in the whole thing of "if you have these 10 personality traits you are X" like what if a person has 1 or 2 of those traits but not the rest what does that make him? Also it's easier to lob people into introvert/extrovert instead of painfully detailing that this person is quiet or that person is outgoing and cheerful or whatever...

Thats one of the many things internet romanticize that actually backfire IRL , i think you heard of the "reddit humor" aka taking my self esteem/social anxiety/mental issues and turning it into memes like the "my therapist" memes like dude.....or "me sweating trying to talk to the service guy to get more dip" memes and other similar jokes , now joking about your problems is one thing but gosh they help in this whole romanticizing process
