I don't really like to finish games, and I don't like to think of having "a backlog". I just play whatever I feel like whenever I feel like it, which naturally makes it take forever to finish shit because my favourite genre are long ass RPGs.
I have gotten to over 40+ hours in save files before restarting them too, I’ll be extremely precise with that I want and waste a lot of time with that. I have a problem- I’m so bad at rhythm games(I’m desperately trying to get better and I think I might be maybe?) tried to play Rhythm Heaven on the ds. I legitimately could only get past the first level, had to go to the cafe to progress every time.
- I have a huge issue with finishing games, getting better with this too. I tend to hyper fixate on one game for weeks get quite far in it, loss interest, go do the same with a different game, then when my interest lands on the same game again I’ll restart it because I feel like I’ve been away so long.
- Like in real life I also tend to get comical lost in video games as well.
Sega CD wasn't the worst thing ever. It didn't pan out but it was an interesting device. The 32X was a dud through and through though. WTF was Sega thinking?
I can think of at least 4 more: Vette, Toyota Celica GT Rally, Viper Racing and F355 Challenge. There are probably more out there.(Maybe the only game thats named after a one specific car)
Yeah but those have extra words, are there others where its JUST the name of the car?I can think of at least 4 more: Vette, Toyota Celica GT Rally, Viper Racing and F355 Challenge. There are probably more out there.
Also, all those Sega CD greats and no Snatcher? For shame.
When moving houses a few years ago, I fucking LOST my copy of Twilight Princess HD, and now it's like $200. I know the guy who lives there now, but I have no idea of its fate.
Confession, it's really hard for me to finish RPGs even tho they're my favorite genre of game. Mainly being a grown ass adult with responsibilities, jobs, kids, it makes it really hard to play games in general. I've grown attached the very linear experiences in recent years. Last game I actually beat was Ratchet and Clank A Rift in Time. Before that it was resident evil village. I did recently beat Spiderman on ps5, which I feel like I was able to do cause the side content is exactly too difficult and mainly was able to focus on the story, and even though it has RPG elements and has an open world, action games like that have a sneaky way on just making you focus on story.
Another one for me is I never beat Skyrim. I had 150 hours in the 360 version of the game. Never made it past the Grey Beards part of the game. Went and seen them, got my first shout. Then fucked around for 150 hours. I've never seen the ending, not sure if I want to either.
Very first Fallout game I ever beat was 4. Lost my job and spent damn near 300 hours playing the game. I'm also in that boat that New vegas is better than 3.
Assassins Creed, only ever almost completed 2 and every other game has been boring to me. It's a sin cause everyone loves assassins creed lmfao.
You're legit the first person other than me that I've heard have that opinion. I've had mofos try to convince me to like it.I hate Assassin's Creed
To me, Assassin's Creed will always be the series that killed Prince of Persia. There is one game in the series I like and that's Black Flag. They really got naval combat right in that one. Don't particularly care about other aspects of the game, especially all the Ubisoftisms of open world design.I hate Assassin's Creed

TBH, I wish Skull and Bones ended up actually good, cause the idea was literally supposed to be the navel combat from black flagTo me, Assassin's Creed will always be the series that killed Prince of Persia. I Liked the first one. it was a neat game, but after the first one. it was meh and never took interest in the Series after.I hate Assassin's Creed
