I can agree that when there are more than two individuals in the mix there's a higher risk of deceiving from one or another but I assume that trust and faithfulness can apply there.in my opinion a good relationship requires mutual trust and faithfulness.
yeah the actual act of deceit is the worst partI can agree that when there are more than two individuals in the mix there's a higher risk of deceiving from one or another but I assume that trust and faithfulness can apply there.

Don't.I don't think anyone cheating me would be doing themselves a favor hell i don't think my partner would be the one that cheats it is I who would![]()
we only know one side of the story, have no intrinsic knowledge of the details and are forced to take sides.I have a genuine question, tho. Should we as a community consider these kind of threads as an adjacent to mental health and crisis posts? I don't think it was intended by the OP, but people do get heavily emotional discussing these matters for obvious reasons and the forums are not equipped to provide adequate support.

Hard to tell to be honest. The thread hasn't led to any obvious oversharing that would indicate that posters are in the middle of a crisis that would necessitate professional help. I think threads like this will have to be judged on a case by case basis.I have a genuine question, tho. You know, I'm sitting here, listening to my playlist, thinking about something to add to this, and then I see this abomination of Earth, and now I don't know what to say at all lol.Our only chance at true happiness is to be like @Clippy and get the harem ending.

I dunno man my eyes are slippery and can't keep them on one girl at a time even if i have a girl in mind and been talking to her just hard to stay loyal these daysDon't.
Cheating is a sin. A horrible one.
Not only is morally WRONG...
but breaking the trust and loyalty of the one who would want you to be happy more than anything in the world...
betraying the one person who understands you in such a beautiful and deep way, the one who open their heart and soul to you...
...destroying something as beautiful and difficult to find as love...
...I don't understand why

I'd suggest to not delve into religious talk because there are also some rules written that don't make sense today in a more modern context.Yeah the actual act of deceit is the worst part.
There is a reason "Thou shalt not commit adultery" was written in stone.
I hope this topic won't derail into some kind of sexist rhetoric about how "women are all superficial/gold diggers/opportunists" but I trust this forum members to be mature enough to not go that way thankfully.

In the more pragmatic point of view of the thing it was probably to prevent spreading illnesses and/or illegitimate children more than anything else.
