I hate that we are in a time where Paternity tests are necessary but in today's society where sleeping around and having sex before marriage is celebrated it has become a necessity sadly,trust sure is good but knowledge is better especially since its my blood - effort and money and I rather be assure that what I spend it on is my own child and not the child from mailman Jim.

Waiting for marriage was kinda an excuse to control a woman even if she's adult from old fashioned families...

Yes, raising a child requires efforts but I also respect a guy that helps a single mother although this may make the relationship more complicated.

Precisely also wanting to keep once own Genetic legacy is just common Human behavior even if we are all the same species,its just common genetic tendencies to preserve once own bloodline every society regardless of culture or religion follows the logic and that since pretty forever.

Its not necessary about Clan or Family name either but in its purest form that your specific genes/DNA gets passed on even Animals have such a behavior.

And in Cases you are unable to do so people normally tended to adopt Children that are genetically closer to them,unlike nowadays where its often for social credit and cloud.
