Can't remember the name of that game from your past?

Exterminator :)

I'm sorry, that's not it. The movement of the mosquitoes is kinda similar, though.

I'm looking for the title of a game. Both Google search and ChatGPT have failed to provide it. I only remember a few things because I played it in Japan when I was a kid, but I'll try to list everything I can.

Played around 1995-1998 (sorry, I forgot the exact year)
2.5D (2d enemies, "3d" BG like Alien the Gun)
Arcade rail shooter with goofy and cartoony graphics
Main protagonists are insect exterminators, like a parody of ghost busters with big heads and insecticide spray cans connected to their backpack as their gun
Enemies are mosquitoes, cockroaches, and other bugs. They all have big eyes.
The arcade machine's gun is metallic and shaped like a can of insecticide. The trigger is at the top. It needs to be shaken to reload.

That's all that I can remember.
Bug buster for arcade?

There is a burning memory of a game from my childhood that I cannot figure out. From what I recall, it was some sort of puzzle game, and had something to do with shipping containers and took place on what I think was a dock. I think there was a timed element? I'm also fairly certain it was a pc game (perhaps from one of those "10 games in 1" cds, or a flash game), and the graphics were pretty smooth and not pixelated. It was probably 2006-2010 when I played it. All I remember is that I really enjoyed it at the time, and would love to find it again.

Unfortunately i don't have much experience in pc games...
But here are a few guesses:

Ocean Express:

Stack The Containers

Also it would help if you explain more about it mechanics.
For example, was it something like this:
Shove it! The Warehouse Game (md) (aka Sokoban clones)

I hope these somehow help. 😄

Dude, it was 100% Ocean Express!!! It doesn't look nearly as impressive as I remember it, but I can't wait to play it again. Used to play that and bookworm all the time as a kid. Don't know how I never found it, but I was never good at google-fu. You're the man, thank you!

Hello everyone.
I'm looking for a PS3 game and this is what I remember.
Gameplay is first person view, it begins in an apartment and the character (you) has a bad headache so he is looking for a painkiller.
In the game it is possible to interact with various objects by grabbing them and leaving them in another place (in real time) after finding the painkiller then is possible to leave through the main door of the apartment.
Next during the cutscene you can see that he takes the train or subway to go to a 'hospital' and a doctor checks him by putting a helmet on his head to check him for a headache.
The thing is that it covers all your vision (as players you can't see anything on the screen) then you hear screams and strange noises.
When you take off the helmet you are in an 'abandoned' version of the hospital (Silent Hill style)
I don't remember well the enemies that are chasing you, I only remember that it is not possible to fight them, you can only escape.
Another important thing is that I am very sure that it was a demo. So maybe the game was never completed and that's why I never found it...
Sorry for my bad English.
I'm using an app to translate.

That sounds a lot like SOMA, minus the screams and such when the visor goes down, but that wasn't on the PS3, to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks for the response.
I checked a video on YT of SOMA but it's not the game.
Although I was surprised by the similarities.
Department -It's not the same one I remember-
The headache -In the game he took some pills, and they were under his pillow-
As for PS3/PS4, I'm already starting to doubt if it was really from PS3.
I played it at a friend's house, downloaded it from the store as 'free' and it was a very short demo.
I hope one day I can find it, even if it's the demo.
Maybe it was never completed or it was a very preliminary soma demo...

I know this game. But the name eludes me. I Think it's Dementium. But I'm not sure. The sequel is currently on sale on Steam for 71 cents USD. It has mixed reviews. Might get it just to see if it's any good.

I thought it was also on PS3 but I'm only seeing 3DS, PS4, PS5 and Switch. Maybe there was a cancelled PS3 version. Renegade Kid also attempted to make a spiritual successor after losing the IP rights. This game would have been called Cult Country. Looks like the Kickstarter failed.

This one saturn game with beautiful pixel art. I saw it on an episode of game sack as a kid. I don't remember anything about it besides there was a fat green dragon that walked on two legs, and i think it involved carrying things?

This is our thread to help each other to get some relief from that mental agony of when you miss a game from the good old times, but can't remember its name!!!

To organize it a bit, I think we can agree with some rules for asking and for answering.

Asking: Describe the game as much as possible for you. Mechanics, character design, scenarios, visual style and stuff. It's even better, in case you have searched for it a lot before, to add a little list of titles you already removed from the horizon of possibilities.

Answering: Preferably don't just throw a name and go away. Justify why are you relating the game asked with the title you're suggesting and always add screenshots illustrating it! We know how images are what clicks the "omg that's it!!!" in us.

Have fun!
Well since this is here, honestly as of late I've had the experience of remembering this weird, kind of simulator for the Nintendo DS if I'm not mistaken. It was supposedely about using a sort of radar too take down planes while you're in an aircraft carrier. I don't remember anything else, aside from the fact that the game had this black and orange radar, and the top screen? I don't properly remember... It may be a hard search, sorry, but I just kinda remembered it.

Looking for the name of a PSX game when you play as a ninja defeating enemies in 3D style. I know it's not Goemon but it's pretty similiar, it also plays similiarly to Rockman Dash/MegaMan Legends.

Maybe one of the Tenchu games?

Could also be Soul of the Samurai:

No, like I said the graphics is in 3D deformed style similiar to PSX Goemon games.
This is a long shot as I don't think the game is THAT forgotten but maybe it's Brave Fencer Musashi.

Not much to go on but I'll give it a go.

Nope, it didn't had any visual clues in a way... I don't wanna think it's lost media, because I remember clearly that there were some 8 bit animations or something when you caught what you needed to get(?)
I'm sorry that I don't have much information, but I do recall that maybe it was more like a strategy simulation kind of thing. And that you were carrying planes in an aircraft carrier.

I dunno it's kinda hard, any visual cues or other clues?

Just a shot in the dark this time, Infinite Space?

Nah man, not even this one. But hey it looks pretty dope, might actually check it once I finish the Bakugan game I'm playing. Thanks for the effort.
