Zelda Megathread

Yeah! The outfits are so damn good. Not sure if they're much different in SP (have not found much clothing yet) but in ZB I loved just dressing her up in different outfits.

Hacking the Switch has definitely been a bunch of annoyance for me but that's mostly my specific circumstances. It's probably much smoother nowadays with the HATS pack, exFAT formatted SD cards, etc.
Maybe I'll see if I can swing getting one for my birthday. 😅
I don't know how to mod shit and I'm scared to try, because I tend to fuck things up when I experiment like that.

They're fuck8n'  expensive, though.. 😩

One thing I absolutely loved about Minish Cap is how many ALTTP references they've put in it because the same team worked on the GBA ALTTP (+ Fourswords) port/remake.

The game over theme being the intro's second verse:

The rain theme for Mt Crenel being the rainy night theme:

Hi first post just got NES and playing this awesome game missed it when it came out 1987 as just left school and had no money!! Played ever Zelda game to date apart from this

the adult temples really feel a lot like Nosgoth after it fell. Perfect fit for Raziel.

I think this is the issue where Link got the Triforce of Power and nearly became the new villain of the series, even more powerful than Ganon. One of the better covers they did IMO

So Minish Cap but like Wind Waker. Yeah that works. Might as well do it.
Maybe Wind Waker's reception is the reason why they stopped giving a shot at full 3D Toon Link games...

I love the way they wanted to make a grand adventure despite the technical limitation from 2D.

BotW had some similar sceneries in the game (although without any giant towers like that sadly).

ALBW's artworks are magnificent. On the same level of Skyward Sword and BotW imo.

SO good, love the crayon style.
ALBW, together with Oracle, is my favorite Link design

It almost looks like a painting, fitting considering how one of the game's major theme is that.

I also like Minish cap and Wind Waker "rough drawing" style for the artworks. I love how much variety there is in various games.

Despite not being an official name I always say "Classic Link" to talk about his NES, ALTTP, LA, OoA/OoS and ALBW design to contrast with Toon Link and the "Modern" design he got since Ocarina of Time.

Yeah the calligraphy style for Wind Waker is awesome. It's really cool how the artwork has a way rougher feel than the actual game, even though they're both hyper stylized and essentially feel like opposites but the same, at the same time.
I like calling the Oracle design "dwarf Link" because of his giant hat, and his popped collar on his tunic and boots gives him more of a whimsical/fairy look I really like.
Also like how he both has a brown undershirt and white pants, feels like the best mix of his non-green clothing to me.
