I would like to play a new Wario Land game.
i need to go back and play that. i think i got about 1/3 of the way through it.What about Battalion Wars?
Me too, even though the game is fun the missions after the mid-point get brutal. You have to micromanage like crazy and it can get a bit frustrating. I wanna try the sequel and see if it's as hard.i need to go back and play that. i think i got about 1/3 of the way through it.
Wasn't one rereleased last year though?A new cruis'n game would be great for arcade racing.
near sure cruis'n blast is from 2019Wasn't one rereleased last year though?

I've always wondered how a 3D IC could be like.Ice Climber needs more love. I'm shocked the series did not get a Gameboy port with new gameplay modes or a Super NES reboot with new levels and enemies.
While I wanna see ROB more often but after the mild reception of Nintendo Labo and Game Builder Garage I think that adding yet another gimmicky peripheral isn't the best idea.I'd love to see Nintendo use R.O.B once again, either as a peripheral or in a standard game. We've seen R.O.B as a playable character in Smash as well as Mario Kart DS, but not much else.
I feel as though a return to the "Robotic Operating Buddy" in the current day and age leaves a large amount of room for creativity and innovation from the R&D team, especially with how much they could do now compared to the days of Stack-Up and Gyromite.
I can imagine a sort of Chibi-Robo styled game that could feature R.O.B - Perhaps a sort of adventure game? Use both characters in a multiplayer game like It Takes Two?
Maybe use the character as a coding platform to be used for kids, using a new Game Builder Garage to be like a sort of LEGO Mindstorm robot?
I'm spit balling all of these ideas here, and these could be terrible ideas.
(alternatively, could R.O.B just come back to Mario Kart? He was a really cool addition to DS!)
Like many agree.A new Star Fox would be nice
at this point, i think it would be easier and better for someone to just make their own series inspired by star fox. we only got star fox zero because of the wii u gimmick of 2 screens and it was so bad that i couldn't finish the game. miyamoto basically only approves of a new game if it "innovates" itself with a new idea.Like many agree.
But personally I'd even say A new Star Fox without milking Lylat Wars nor Andross again.
I certainly understand where you are coming from. While I wanna see ROB more often but after the mild reception of Nintendo Labo and Game Builder Garage I think that adding yet another gimmicky peripheral isn't the best idea.
Gyromite itself is quite not great as you'd better have someone using the pad than the slow robot.
Which is both a blessing and a curse.Miyamoto basically only approves of a new game if it "innovates" itself with a new idea.
Or being an AI that adapts the game according to the player? That said, I still think that the character could work separately from a Nintendo system, and more like an external accessory that kids could use as a learning tool to code R.O.B to pick things up and move around. More of an educational product rather than a commercial one.
That's a really good way of putting it, actually. But I feel like Starfox is merely seen as a tech demo franchise by Nintendo
I like the way you think!Or being an AI that adapts the game according to the player?
Maybe I'm thinking too far.
I’d love Ice Climbers to get the Kid Icarus Uprising treatment! Some sort of 3D adventure or platformer game sounds interesting.I've always wondered how a 3D IC could be like.
yes, the classic double edged sword. he helped out with metroid prime with his cryptic words: "what if samus saw things like a bug?" which led to her visor having multiple modes for exploring and analyzing the environment; leading to interesting worlds, animals, plants and immersive storytelling.Which is both a blessing and a curse.
I do respect what he did for gaming as a whole (especially with how Mario changed platforming for good, twice and how they managed to bring new ideas) but now that he's a consultant rather than a director he's mostly there to tell he's still working on the games when we could get fresher stuff.
At least Splatoon had a rather new team with new ideas and without having to reuse an older IP while still having that Nintendo feeling (but I cannot expect anything big for the fourth game).
But I feel like Starfox is merely seen as a tech demo franchise by Nintendo (considering Argonauts worked on the first and how the third and fourth game weren't by EAD either).
The cancelled but now returned Starfox 2 showed that it's possible to evolve the concept without too many gimmicks.
Best hope you have is a fan-made remake that'll immediately get the anal circumference check by Nintendo.
yeah, they did state that they were done with the wilds era. we will most likely get another zelda minecraft or whatever echoes of wisdom is supposed to be.Punch-Out (ARMS DOESN'T COUNT) and a new classic 3D Zelda. I like TOTK, but they were REALLY stretching it with a sequel. I have a feeling they're done with the BOTW formula, though.
