My rotting flesh and decrepit bones
Your co-worker is just dumb, most young adult people i know, have seen movies from the 80s and 70s and know they are in color. Do they think the first Star Wars is from 2007?My knees.
Or more pop-culturally relevant - having to assert to young colleagues that movies from the 70s and 80s are actually in colour and widescreen and you can just watch them like any other movies.

That movie is already 20 Years old....Certain video game or movie anniversaries like wtf do you mean the Spongebob Movie is over 20 years old, I remember seeing that in theaters as a kid.
Same the Ps4 was also my last sony Console, and I don't plan on biying the Ps5 not that I could afford it anyway. It really feels weird that the Ps4 is considered last Gen for me.One of my oldest memories is seeing my dad playing Gran Turismo on the PlayStation 1. PlayStation 4 was my last Sony console, but to make me feel even older, now there are talks of the PlayStation 6. PS4 also dropped when I was still in highschool.

This is a really sweet sentiment; I just wanted you to know that!I always ask myself and try to empathize with the idea of "I wonder what these people thought when they played/listened to this at the time," and if they thought it was as special as I see it now.
I feel you.I played DOOM with just a keyboard.
The first phone I used was a rotary landline.
I went to a middle school (something which I gather isn't really a thing anywhere anymore)
I used a walkman
I was raised on music cassette tapes.
On the rare instances I speak to someone under the age of 25, I feel a real disconnect in our lived experience. They see an older person, as I see a younger one.
Being able to say I've lived in two millennia is pretty cool though.

Sonic ain't older than meim 40 now and so is sonic lol
Damn, I have to add "I was younger than Hatsune Miku when I fell in love with her" XDAnytime I realized just how old something I've loved for years is.
Doom is 31 years old
Street Fighter 2 is 34 years old
Hell, Hatsune Miku's gonna be around for 19 years very soon.
Ironically, I'm younger than you and I feel old.i am twenty nine, i do not yet feel old
gackt
i will say - it is a little strange seeing the musicians i loved as a child, they were young, but are in their late 40s and early 50s now
seeing them with grey hair is so strange
