I was planning to buy this Ayn Thor console so I could play 3DS games, which were recommended to a friend of mine on the forum.

Which model are you getting? Are you going to use it for other consoles too?

I think I'll buy either the Pro or the Light version; the Light version is cheaper, but I don't know if it can run more demanding games. If possible, I think I'll also play DS a little, GBA, and other consoles.

I have ordered a Pro model, but I think the Lite or Base versions will be fine for every system you mentioned. Looks like the Lite version plays most things up to PS2/GameCube fairly well.

Good idea, lighter games run perfectly, it can run games with 8 GB of RAM, which my phone also has, so it can run 3DS and Wii.

I went out and bought a gameboy like transparent real green Anbernic console. It's a bit much, about the cost of a new game, but the potential is great. Can run just about everything, granted it mostly though RetroArch, but...for travel or breaks at work, it's been fun to have so far.

I don't know, I'm planning to run it on dual-screen consoles and other platforms.

I was really considering buying an AYN Thor Pro or Max at one point so I can emulate newer consoles and potentially switch games but I decided to make the best out of the handhelds I have (like my actual, now moded, switch). This definetly is one of the best high end handhelds though, I'd buy it if I hadn't bought an actual 3DS too.

Good choice! You'll definitely have fun getting the most out of the system.
