If by "breakfast" you mean a cup or two of coffee, sure.Always eat breakfast before going to work.
When i worked at 6am on a wed i wasnt a allowed a break to 9am very hard to force food at 5amYour lack of appetite in the morning is gonna be your hunger in the afternoon.
Yeah.If by "breakfast" you mean a cup or two of coffee, sure.
Best of luck then. Sorry it’s been taking this long. Hopefully it’ll be done for good this time, and my condolences once again.I learned that, if this last set of documents processes, I might be done with all of the paperwork associated with handling my dad's affairs. If it doesn't, I have to fill out one more set and then they process that. So close. It'll be nice to only have to look for bills instead of weird "did this guy die" kind of forms.
Thanks, it's mainly been a matter of waiting on things to show up in the mail, then making the appointment to have stuff notarized and whatnot. But so far, knock on wood, everything has been fairly smooth. So even if he didn't do a ton of preparations for this, it isn't as bad as it could have been. :)Best of luck then. BLACK AND WHITE ALWAYS GRAYWhat did you learn today? ?
Having a lot of patience is important in life.
i worked at 6am on wednesday there will still be 1 customer waiting for you to open up its mad.I learned that even if you get up early and get to the grocery store right when they open so you can be as unbothered by other customers as possible, someone will still manage to stand in front of the ground meat like they're watching the paint peel or something.
I don't mind that but there are like 20 aisles in the store. What are the odds that me and the ONE other customer, who didn't head in the same direction, ended up in front of the same 3-foot section at the same time? I wish I'd been about 30 seconds earlier, I would've been done and they could stand there for the rest of the day for all I care, heh.i worked at 6am on wednesday there will still be 1 customer waiting for you to open up its mad.
One thing I learned working in retail is the vast majority of consumers lack the ability to look up, and instead of doing that and reading the signs that clearly mark which aisle contains what they will find the nearest employee- preferably the one in the middle of transferring glass pickle jars to a shelf- and ask them were they can find the pectin.I don't mind that but there are like 20 aisles in the store. I don't miss my 4.45am starts on wed ya need at least an hour to yourself to deal with the public i made sure i was in for at least 5.30 for some hiding time.I don't mind that but there are like 20 aisles in the store. This is why I like working overnight. One of the places I worked at up in Seattle closed at 11 and opened at 7, it was magicalI don't miss my 4.45am starts on wed ya need at least an hour to yourself to deal with the public i made sure i was in for at least 5.30 for some hiding time.
The worst thing is when at the deli counter you are in a hurry and there is an elderly customer who won't stop taking one thing after another, and at the same time discusses his bullshit with the poor clerk.I learned that even if you get up early and get to the grocery store right when they open so you can be as unbothered by other customers as possible, someone will still manage to stand in front of the ground meat like they're watching the paint peel or something.
Nightshift was tough but knocking off at 7am was glorious especially on a saturday morning. This is why I like working overnight. One of the places I worked at up in Seattle closed at 11 and opened at 7, it was magical
