What are some things you're notably terrible at that you've actually given effort? Any common skills you failed to learn?

I never learned to ride a bike, and I'm probably as bad at math as anyone you'll ever meet.

existing comfortably. i require a razorthin balance of things just to maintain normal baseline functionality. i don't know what the balance is to exceed normal functionality and i'd like to be able to figure out how to get there again.

otherwise yeah i can't ride bike either lol and i am terrible at puzzles in games despite trying. baba is you defeated me, barely even got past 1st island.

Working on something without a guide.

Why can't you think for yourself respectfully ma'am i spend at least 6 years to just be Science Olympic Kids, the only way that i can do something is to do it with a guide.

Except Games, that just because it's fun.

I believe every hurdle can be surpassed with enough practice. I feel like I've gotten a lot better at fighting games compared to how I was before, for example. Keep going and you'll get there.

That being said, my brain can't handle most rhythm games (such as Osu!, Theathrythm and Guitar Hero) on the hardest difficulties. I can handle the more unconventional ones such as Hi-Fi Rush or Everhood, since they are not purely based on rhythm, but the real ones... my god

Wow, after reading so many people is bad at just existing, I won't feel embarassed / ashamed anymore by saying that I HAD to learn the basic of cooking but I'm totally bad at it, even after many months.

Oh, and I'm also bad in puzzle games, I've given up on a Layton game after the very first puzzles.

Other have said "living" and "existing" and I relate. A day doesn't go by where I don't pummel myself for being a failure at life, while comparing myself to the rest of the world and people my age who have families, kids, jobs etc. All the things I OUGHTA have at my age. I even look at kids and think: "Don't worry kiddo, you're gonna be just fine. You're gonna have a future for sure, because it takes a failure of astronomical proportions to be as bad at life as me". It's like life is this game that comes natural to everyone else. Everyone else has figured out the secret sauce. They get educated, they get a job, they go out and find a cute girl to fall in love with, they have kids, they establish a healthy family life etc ect ... and then there's me. An example of the straight opposite.

Other than that, I'm bad at math, could never figure it out. I also never learned whistling with my fingers. In Danish we call whistling with just your mouth "fløjte" and with your fingers "pifte", I don't know if English has the same distinction.

once you've worked customer service you become the least annoying customer ever. even if you're angry at some shit you realize it would just be shooting the messenger. i dealt with some bitterly terrible horrible people when in customer service.

Comparison is the enemy of satisfaction. If you want something, eventually, you need to figure out what your own path towards it looks like, and find out what you needed along the way. "I want to marry then sire offspring to continue the bloodline" is an external pressure before it is an internal one.

But I'm still not convinced that "pifte" is not a large-scale prank that's being played on me specifically. (Btw, love that Danish has two verbs for to differentiate types of whistling, none of the languages I knew did)

Oh, and I'm bad at fighting games.

Structure and discipline.
Dont't get me wrong, when the need arises, I can be a hard as hell worker - as a freelancer, I kind of have to be - and I'm conceited enough to think myself fairly competent at the things I care about, but keeping up a system, studying or working in a structured manner when I don't have the motivation or passion needed at that moment?
That's just not happening. No matter how much I try.
