What are you bad at?

I do agree that the thread was most likely refering to simple matters like "being bad at swimming" or "being bad at math" and that the whole thing then quickly spiralled out of control when some of us brought "being bad at life" into play. While I wasn't looking for sympathy or validation of any kind myself, I do apologize for contributing to derailing the conversation.
No worries; I'm not one for extreme pessimism in a forum thread, yet my comment was also pretty generalizing and probably blunt. Hope everything goes well for you.

I don't feel so bad about being awful at math; I've found my people lol

I'm notoriously bad at handling conflict with tact. I've been told I'm aggressive, unreasonable, spiteful, antagonistic, and mean.

I wouldn't consider myself a particularly great driver. I usually try to walk or bike anywhere where it's realistic to do so.
That's a good thing to be bad at, honestly. It's healthier for you in the long-run.

Sometimes bluntness is what people need to wake up. Someone who serves them reality like a rusty bucket of cold water instead of sugercoating it.

Also i never learned how to divide, ¿Adition, substraction and multiply? easy peasy, ¿Decimals? give a challenge, ¿Fractions? Down the hatch
But division is my Kryptonite

I couldnt whistle for shit until I went to the cementery and sat at the back while watching some birds. There were a lot and their sounds were so different I tried to imitate them and after a while I got it lmao

I suck at debating, mainly due to how my mind works, i can have a rock solid argument and fail just because i can't put it properly in words.

Setting boundaries or downright calling people out. I just let them say their thing and try to be more comprehensive or understand that point of view, apparently that's bad.

Key word apparently. It's a good thing to try and be comprehensive, but well we know what happens when you let the offenses repeat

I mean, so long as you still voice your own comprehensive opinion, criticism or disagreement afterwards that's the way it's supposed to work.
Nothing bad about it just because people at large (or rather the terminally online) have forgotten how communication works.

Whistling is one of those things that are simple once you know how, but I find extremely hard to explain. When kids show me they can "whistle" they really just blow out air with no sound, and my only comment then is just "keep practicing, then you'll get it eventually".

If you feel bad for me, that is on you, I never asked for sympathy, I'm just telling it how it is. Also, the thread is literally about what you are bad at, and people merely answer. If your stance is that "we are all bad at something, you are not special, nobody cares about your shortcomings" then maybe just scroll by and let the rest of us be miserable in peace? You ask if the average person here is 15, by which I assume you think we sound like depressive teenager... ever heard of a midlife crisis? It is when you reach a point in life where you look around you and feel you ought to have accomplished more. You can then argue whose "fault" that is, but that's another matter entirely.
Actually the opposite, if I felt bad for you it would mean I join to the "miserable" party as you say, and that's not gonna happen. My life is not perfect, but I had to learn how to take the good side of everything.

I am sorry to put it like this, but if you have time to feel bad and have a midlife crisis you also have time to think what to do to stop being like that. I won't feel pity for you if you don't do other thing than complaining and feeling miserable. I also say the same to the people who blame god or bad luck for their misfortune. Everything is on you, take it or leave it.

If somebody's life were "that" insufferable, if they keep on living means they are lying or they don't have the guts to end it.

Believe me, I do all I can to "stop being that", but while I agree with you that there is no such thing as luck - good or bad - I disagree that everything is on you. Sometimes things happen in life that you have no direct control over.

As for your last point, I guess I am lying then.

The guitar. I managed to learn a couple songs (Creep and Seven Nation Army) but it was a struggle that took months. I don't do things that I'm bad at, so I haven't picked up the guitar in months, but I should give it another go.

Yeah, I agree. I meant everything is on you from whatever you can control, the rest can be random and that part you can't control can favour more other people.

But hey, sometimes is better to lie than to die :)
