Video games you would want to translate yourself

Moonlight Syndrome. I seem to be one of the 3 people on Earth who actually likes Suda51's vn's so i always wanted to translate at least Moonlight Syndrome into English for my 2 other fellow fans since i heard it's kind of a prequel to The Silver Case. I wish i wasn't as lazy as i am so i could actually learn Japanese instead of daydreaming about learning it.
From what i remember it's already being worked on and has made tremendous progress.

I also forgot to reply that ps1 persona 1 is being worked on by tom so expect a high quality fan translation.

a good translation of the original windows releases for The Legend of Heroes III-V aka Gagharv Trilogy would be nice. not sure about the technical side of things on modern hardware though. on that matter, The Legend of Xanadu for PCE is another old Falcom title i've always heard great things about

I would like to do translations for many 3DS and PSP games, since I feel very comfortable with these systems, maybe the remaining 2 entries of Danball Senki/LBX or the PSP versions of Mega Man Legends 1 and 2 since I haven't seen someone that has tried to do any of those, I really want to do fan translations eventually so I'm simply learning the basics right now. :]

my fav for PSVita would be:
ROMANCE OF THE THREE KINGDOMS XIII Fame and Strategy

but it's near impossible..

I'd LOVE to do this one: Patlabor Game Edition for the PS1.

I've been a huge fan of the franchise for the past 25 years. Heck, I actually *can* do the patch, do the ASM hacking, have a chap who's a genius for image/video editing and even a translator.

Problem is, the game has a lot of in-game cutscenes with voice acting, so no possibility to put subs in there. I would need to assemble a team of amateur voice actors who both know and like the source material and are willing to work for free 😅 A man can dream...

Anyway, if someone is in touch with people who like anime and do voice acting, let me know. Maybe we can do something!

The Summon Night games from 1-4.
There hasn't been any English translations for these games for YEARS and I don't think they're getting one any time soon.
So, I decided to learn Japanese so I can play them and ( hopefully) give them an English translation so everyone can enjoy them.

I love summon night series. I play 1 and 2 on GBA and finish both of them.
I still wonder about other Japanese untranslated, happy to see someone already said that.

Real-time subs have been added in recent fan translation patches for PS1, so it might be feasible.

Yeah, but I'm not *that* good a hacker yet, still learning 😂

Every game is different code-wise, but I'd be interested in checking the source code for those patches. If you know of something, let me know!

This is actually the first Saturn game I ever purchased. It came into a used game store my friend worked at and I picked it up years before ever getting a Saturn.
