Oh, how quaint, back at Aperture Labs just about to unleash the neurotoxin drones, and suddenly, a bright idea strikes me. What minerals does this insignificant pile of sand contain? If it’s got anything remotely interesting, I might just have some not-so-legal experiments in mind. Safety is of course, your concern, well for now. My drones will be patrolling the island, as always, so do carry on with your... whatever it is you're doing.

Oh, and the creature with the eye laser. My systems at Aperture have already analyzed its photon wavelengths and such, and surprise, surprise, it’s now about as threatening as a flickering flashlight. What a shame.

But really, I couldn’t care less about the scraps from you or that strange red alien who can apparently conjure matter out of thin air. Go ahead, keep bouting, I’ll just be here, collecting the fallen.

Wouldn’t want to miss that, now would I?

Ah, yes your bizarre camping adventure. So, by all means, carry on with whatever peculiar activity you've got going on.

Don't mind us, it's not like we're dying to get involved in your little outdoor escapade.
 
Looks like I’ve decided to set up my little empire here on this charming island, at least for now.
Our gygercounters have picked up a massive signature on the backside of the island. Lucky for you squishy meatbags, none of you are in the vicinity. Turns out, there’s a hefty deposit of Polonium lurking beneath the surface.

My androids, the precocious little things hauled together a temporary science outpost last night. I even had them mark the boundary of the safe zone, because mining Polonium is a delightful mix of toxicity, radioactivity, and, if you’re unlucky death by breathing it in.

Stay behind the marked line, and you won’t die a slow painful Death, also The radiation won’t get you either. nor will the upgraded shields on the mobile turrets, which are now more protected from the flying creature’s energy beam and of course, the building itself.

Have a lovely day, if you survive to see the rest of it.
