I got this in a humble bundle years ago. I also remember it playing really really well and being a joy to play, up until like the last 3rd of the game or so when it just got punishing. The level design was great tho pretty much universally. You can play as sonic, billy Hatcher, the guy from shenmue in an arcade cabinet, and Danika Patrick.

What more could you want?

it's a very good game. never managed to finish because i'm bad and rarely win at hard difficulty.

sadly, the sonic kart game after this one is horribly.

maybe we can play together someday

I just beat Emerald Coast with the fishing rod controller.

The game was not built with fishing rod support in mind. The camera will spin non stop, with the only way to stop the rotation to be to shake the fishing rod rapidly.



I chose to beat the stage with the camera constantly spinning.

Honestly it's really well put together I'm just waiting for a retranslated mod since I usually play Sonic games in Japanese if it's my second playthrough. And ik that the dialogue that the characters say in Japanese doesn't quite match up to the English sub

I almost always play with japanese voices myself.

I don't take too much attention to the story.

I have played Unleashed on the Xbox 360 emulator (sadly at 30 because 60 FPS f-ed up the QTEs somehow).

You should play the recomp as only the Series X could run the game without any slowdown if you go for console.

the pc should run on your pc, you shouldn't need an xbox for it. if you can get it on the ps3, then play it on that. either should work. i would go with whichever is easier.

Well, I think you'd better wait a bit, I haven't played the PS3 version on real hardware but I'll assume it lags like the original X360.

Or you can play the PS2/Wii one on Dolphin.

My advice is that you should try (since there are many options like lowering the shadow quality and res) and ultimately a straight PC port consumes way less than emulation.

If it's bad then go for the PS3 version.

i'm not very familiar with pc specs. i can understand them better by watching a computer trying to run a game form a specific console. the pc should let you adjust things like the graphics and lower them enough that your computer would be able to run it. if not, then play the ps3 version.

PC for sure. It will be a native port instead of an emulation which will consume more resources. Also RPCS3 is very demanding on the CPU so I doubt you will be able to play it on it.

Play it on a PS3, no offense but your PC stinks it won't be able to run the Recomp, the PS3 port isn't perfect but it's better than running the game at 480p 20 fps.

I have an i5 8th gen, uhd 620 and 8gb ram but it does run well enough, sure you've got to bump the 3d resolution down and screen resolution but it does run around 40 to 50fps runs well enough for me, I don't know about celeron but you can try and test it yourself if you're curious
