This is actually pretty good:
Sonic Forces is just spectacle and no gameplay.I love this Sonic Forces level. It's the kind of spectacle filled roller coaster ride that I expect from a modern Sonic game and ironically Sonic's not even in it.
I'd like to see you play through this level that well on your first try and then tell me that is has no gameplay.Sonic Forces is just spectacle and no gameplay.
Is that the hardest level in Forces?I'd like to see you play through this level that well on your first try and then tell me that is has no gameplay.
Too bad Sega is trying their hardest not to put iconic Sega characters in it.This is actually pretty good:
One of the few good levels in the game.I love this Sonic Forces level. It's the kind of spectacle filled roller coaster ride that I expect from a modern Sonic game and ironically Sonic's not even in it.
And yet ironically I find it more enticing visually and gameplay wise than Frontiers with the empty open world filled with puzzles and the cyberspace levels that are recycled Generations assets with a gameplay having nerfed boost that cannot even let you hit enemies with.Sonic Forces is just spectacle and no gameplay.
Is it really? I last looked in on the project like 10 years ago, and it struggling along even back thenI think it's still in development. It really sucks when there's so few updates.
No, I remember other ones being harder, but I remember taking some hits the first time I played that level. Plus, I was disoriented and confused a few times due to the nature of the stage with so much weird stuff happening. To do a clean run like the one in the video with no hits, getting all the red stars, and getting an S rank requires some practice and knowledge of the stage. Is that the hardest level in Forces?
It certainly lacks gameplay compared to previous Sonic games though.I'm not saying it's super hard, not by a long shot. I'm just saying that it isn't fair to say that the game has no gameplay.
Sonic 06 may be a bad game, but at least it leaves a strong impression, just not a good one.I remember feeling like Forces was a bit nothing-y TBH.
I got it free on PSN and played through the main storyline in what felt like a couple of hours. It just really didn't leave that strong of an impression, is the most I can say about it.
veeery strong impressionSonic 06 may be a bad game, but at least it leaves a strong impression, just not a good one.
I don't hate you, but I do disagree with you.I had fun with Forces...and it's better than Frontiers (don't hate me Frontiers fans:)

I'd still say that it's weird to see people trying their best to claim "it's a misunderstood masterpiece".Sonic 06 may be a bad game, but at least it leaves a strong impression, just not a good one.
I find both games to be bland for different reasons: one because it plays too safe (like NSMB 2 and U yet those are still pretty decent platformers on their own) and the other is too experimental without having any quality insurances (which means it's mostly tech demo-y).I had fun with Forces...and it's better than Frontiers (don't hate me Frontiers fans:)
I didn't know about that, looks interesting. There's a lot of cool fan based Sonic stuff out there that Sonic fans sometimes forget about. You should check out Sonic Forces Overclocked:
I didn't hear about that. That's cool!hey did you hear Robotnik is gonna be DLC in the new Shinobi game as one of the boss fights?
Eh, I don't like that Sega is shoehorning Sonic in non Sonic games because they fear that those games aren't popular enough for younger Sega fans.hey did you hear Robotnik is gonna be DLC in the new Shinobi game as one of the boss fights?
it's all Sega.Eh, I don't like that Sega is shoehorning Sonic in non Sonic games because they fear that those games aren't popular enough for younger Sega fans.

why do you need an explanation for DLC? It's DLC! It's optional! Let people have fun dammit! As a kid, I would have killed for a SEGA crossover game where you could have all these different SEGA characters interacting with each other, but I've got to be 100% honest, I barely have any interest in the new Shinobi at all, let alone playing against Robotnik in the game for poorly explained reasons![]()
Also the DLC isn't even going to be canon.why do you need an explanation for DLC? It's DLC! It's optional! Let people have fun dammit!
I don't think Spongebob and Minecraft Steve are canon in Crossworlds either. lolAlso the DLC isn't even going to be canon.
