Done Some custom emojis/reaction symbols to liked posts/threads

Maybe using some pixel art, a little bit more akin to the site's theme, would be a good idea? Really not sure if that'd be possible, since custom-made art can be expensive. But it'd be a welcome addition.

Feel free to hate me for this, but I don't think we need a face-palm emote.
It's the kind of thing that can be too heavily directed at someone or their idea, and taken harshly in ways the commentor might not have intended. It's something people interpret differently depending on the individual, and can be very disheartening to someone who might see a lot in their idea, only to have their hopes crushed by people facepalming at itit.

So, are you the artist officially in charge of this onerous task? Then I suggest, for the wink emoji, you use Pac-Man, and for the angry one, maybe Wario or Bowser. What do you think about those?

I'm not an artist. I've never used GIMP before entering this thread other than to crop, rotate and resize. This little Kirby probably took me around 3 hours to do and I had a reference lol. Don't know if I'm up to make another one from scratch.

That turned out really nice! Could've fooled me on the experience part.

I feel you. I'm learning on the fly as well. Probably takes me longer to get anything done than many of the amazing artists we have on this forum.

Wow @Zerpina , one of those two tiny dragons from Puzzle Bobble is perfect for the wink emoji, and apparently requires no modifications.

In case someone posts something serious, the tears reaction can be seen as overreacting or disrespectful.

Did a quick modification without tears. Don't know how well it will convey sadness without it though.

My guess is he starting from already very small images as source.
You can't really shrink a big image and get pixel art, no matter how good the software is.

I am thinking if these 2 should be changed or nah?

As for the heart. I kinda like it.

I like 'em, especially the Final Fantasy thumbs up. Very creative.
Personally, I'd use this but I think there are more Zelda fans than Megaman X fans..

The only sprite I've downscaled was the angry one. Everything else was either the right size or doubled. I just used GIMP and manually corrected bad parts.

after switching, I don't think it really fits because everything else is pixel art but that one.
(well it is pixels it just doesn't look like it idk)
