shadow runner nes
Unfortunately not, seems like some dosbox mounting error or somethingWhen I try to run this in DOSBox-X it says "Filename not found" at the startup screen and kicks me back to the command prompt. Is there some sort of trick or configuration option to get it working that you know of? The internet is proving to be unhelpful in my search.
Maybe I'll buy it on GOG and look at their configuration file to see how they made it work. I don't think I can run GOG games on my Pi but they generally use DOSBox for DOS games so I should be able to learn what they did and replicate it.Unfortunately not, seems like some dosbox mounting error or something
I played the GOG version
Don't buy a game just to have glimpse into it's files when you can just download it for free. You might have already bought it, but if you haven't yet this torrent here has the latest version of the game from GOG. Personally I use qBittorrent to download torrents since I think it's by far the best torrent client.Maybe I'll buy it on GOG and look at their configuration file to see how they made it work. I love that this forum enables my piracy habits. Thanks. I'll download it on my big PC to look at the files then use them to configure it on my Pi. I'm also interested in eXoDOS as a concept but it might not be the best option for Pi.Don't buy a game just to have glimpse into it's files when you can just download it for free. I use eXoDOS (that I mentioned earlier in my comment that was automerged) for DOS games and have multiple dozens of games through it. They have this game along with it's manual in a PDF. I just don't know if you could run it well on Pi without some kinda Wine like thing to run Windows apps. You'd probably have to fully install a version of Windows and you don't wanna do that I'd assume.
Well In that case, I got five more for you.I only knew two of those, but I'm definitely on board with hearing some more obscure titles. Even if I don't play them all immediately, your mentioning them will cause them to take up space in my brain, then when I see them on a list of games later I'll be like, "Didn't someone recommend that once? I feel like I've heard good things about that game," which will lead me to try it.
So, by all means, please keep them coming.
Just the kind of craziness I was looking for. Thanks.Well In that case, I got five more for you.
