Judging by the amount of seeders on various torrent websites, i'd say Kiba is pretty obscure.
I dont know how to explain the plot, from what i remember it was very disjointed, but it was also 15 years ago when i watched it (one of the first anime I ever watched) so that one might be on me.
I never forgot about it though, and still want to rewatch it. Its not based on a manga which is somewhat rare for anime.

The OST is the second best i've heard in an AnimeZed, a boy who lives in a bleak dystopian city called "Calm", is frustrated by his current situation in life; he feels that somewhere out there is a place where he can live more fully. One day, at the invitation of a mysterious wind, he dives into a space-time crevasse, leaving behind his terminally ill friend Noah. Riding on the wind, he is transported to a war-torn world where magic users called "Shard Casters" fight endlessly with each other, using spells in the form of marble-like "Shards". He is transported to a country known as Templar.
Zed undergoes countless trials in order to find out who he really is and what is most important to him.
