Im mildly happy . Atleast capcom tries megaman again after Megaman 11 .

The salt from Half Life Fans is hilarious. They are all pilling up on Mega Man and it reminds me of the Smash Character reveal salt. Ahh the good ol' days, know i know how it feels to be on the other side.

The reason the game comes out in 2027 is likely so that they have enough time to include the fan-submitted boss, they are making those contests again. Had it been not for that, it would have been a 2026 release most likely.

Speak for yourself. I'm hope that the story won't have any consequences or be Da Bridge™ between Classic and X.

Fun Fact: A shmumplations translated interview with the developers of MMX4 reveals that the series is nothing but a what if future, written in such an ambigous way so that they don't contradict each other:

Okohara: The world of Mega Man X is not the strictly determined future world of the original series. It’s merely one possible future, or parallel world. There’s a character that resembles Dr. Light in the X series, but whether they’re the same person or not, we leave ambiguous.

Making direct connections between each series would fly in the face of that.

The artstyle is an improvement over 11's, which had nice visuals sans the weird looking Mega Man model. What bothers me is the music, as while 11 was great gameplay-wise, it is unironically the classic game with the worst soundtrack (not counting Game Boy titles of course)

Also im glad to not give a crap about Legends. (ZX3 would be nice tho)

Okay, I'm not happy about Bass possibly having to share a voice actor with his BN counterpart yet again, but at least he might be voiced by a guy this time.

I do wonder who's gonna voice Bass in Japanese. I hope they bring back Nobuyuki Hiyama, but probably not.

If Megaman had music instruments as its lexical field of robots then why we didn't get to see Jazz, Drum, Blues among others?

Protoman was called Blues because it predated Rock, my bad then.

Honestly, I'm so hyped, it reminds me of megaman 8 and megaman and bass a little, even the level design, Rocks design and proportions have been altered from 11 and remind me of 8 and MM&B, battle and chase used that design and finally, MVC and MVC 2 also used that design for megaman. I hope it's a MM&B situation based on the rumours, great game, hardest game I ever played, Megaman = cheap mode. Finished it with bass on the gba on a night I could not sleep many moons ago. I love 8 and MM&B the most. I adore those games. The idea this could be a 2.5D modern sequel to them makes it even better.

All round, between this and Leons turn in RE9, I was eating good for a man that wasn't actually eating at that point.

I personally find it interesting how they can fit a game like that on a handheld, in a similar manner as Donkey Kong Country or Pac-Man World.

In technical terms, MM&B it's an impressive port since it's 1 to 1 in what it can, but the MM8 sprite style was going to be an issue on the screen no matter what. The audio could also been better as well.

I just wonder why they went to release it on the GBA instead of bundling it in the anniversary collection, that would have made much more sense (the handheld was already choking with MM games, just why???)

Also, besides the Ninjago meme, a lot of the fanbase is quite gay I'd say, not a bad thing. (It's like the Splatoon one, there's a lot of LGBT people in there)
There's also 2 characters (unofficially by Sega) confirmed as lesbians and are getting the spotlight right now.

Yeah, but those were made with the Gameboy resolution in mind so it works better, MM&B is a SNES game with PS1 assets. (still impressive though)

I mean, the three Rockman Killers have musical references as their names (I had no idea that Enker was a japanese type of music before a friend told me)
