Life is obviously only about Megaman.
Which is why Megaman X6 is legally classified as a war crime.
Megaman X7 caused 1,000,000,000 global deaths.Mega Man X6 had sex with my spouse and peed on my children.
Also, with the Tweaks romhack I kinda like X6I could at least beat X6. I couldnt even make it through X7 or X8
Don’t worry I don’t think most people have the mental capacity to do so.I could at least beat X6. I couldnt even make it through X7 or X8

That’s why you only see X7 fans at the hospital.
It’s ok, me too, I’ve been mentally diagnosed with “unironically liking X8”. It’s incurable.I have, but I'm a special case.

So true.That's so sad. ) :

Hello, I like Aile
I have a few hours into both BN2 and BN3, and you're definitely right about that. I was mostly surprised that the first game lacks a normal run function without using an escape chip. I also wasn't expecting to feel so lost in the net all the time, but both of those problems I have with the first title seem to be fixed as time goes on.
The gameplay of the BN series is still really unique, and I look forward to the Soul Unisons and Beast Out mechanics found in the later titles.

I was also wondering if anyone here has played Cannon Spike on Dreamcast, and if so, what are your thoughts on the game? It features Mega Man as a (not-so-secret) playable character.

Yes, Cannon Spike is fascinating in my opinion as well; Cammy, Charlie Nash, Arthur, and Mega Man feel at first very strange in a roster together that isn't just a dream match game like Marvel 2. I was very surprised when I was made aware that the game featured Mega Man, as my only knowledge about the game was initially from a costume of Cammy in Street Fighter V, based on her appearance in Cannon Spike.I have a bizarre fascination with this game. My neighbors had a hacked dreamcast with a bunch of burned disks on it, and this was one of them. every few years I try in vain to beat the game, but with no luck. I really want to one of these days. It's weirdly fun... has a very bizarre soundtrack, and I have no idea how it came to be.
Mega Man X6 had sex with my spouse and peed on my children.
Despite that, I kind of adore gate as a villain. we don't often get memorable villains outside of sigma, but a scientist who specifically uses dead reploids as his army, and is trying to take over in the aftermath of an already devastating time period is a pretty cool idea. he is like a reploid doctor Frankenstein, he even throws a glitching zombie sigma at you.Man, X6. I wish I could defend that game, but I just can't. It's as if every stage was made to be frustrating to play - Blaze Heatnix's Donut Shop and Ground Scaravich's Teleport Palooza spring to my mind immediately in that regard.
And the nightmare system is an interesting idea on paper, but it just doesn't work in execution. There is no reason to want to enter a nightmare level over the normal version of a stage. Had there been more benefits to enter a nightmare level, such as an actual altering of the level design instead of turning some lights off, it would have been better received by players.
Aside from the gameplay having worse stages compared to the majority of the series, I don't dislike everything about X6. I'd say that I like the armors present in the game at least.Despite that, I kind of adore gate as a villain. we don't often get memorable villains outside of sigma, but a scientist who specifically uses dead reploids as his army, and is trying to take over in the aftermath of an already devastating time period is a pretty cool idea. he is like a reploid doctor Frankenstein, he even throws a glitching zombie sigma at you.
Also, having a reploid supposedly carrying wily somehow is something I wish the series followed up on. I also like that Alia of all people get's some backstory here. Despite it kinda fucking up the timeline, it had a lot of cool ideas it added. I learned to appreciate it a lot more with a proper translations.
the gameplay? eh, it's an X game still, and with some balancing it's an okay one, but I don't blame you for not liking it at all.
Edit: my memory needs checking, I said Aile not Alia.
x6 had just one day short of a year long development after five came out.
mmx5: JP November 30, 2000
mmx6: JP November 29, 2001
5 was meant to be end, with development of mega man zero starting up shortly after. also, Keiji Inafune was not involved with x6.
short dev time, long time dev and overseer is not involved, interest is being drummed up for the sequel series. of course the game is rough.
well, it seems like it needs repeating if everyone is going to keep bringing up how the levels feel like beta builds and the difficulty is unbalanced and the nightmare system is half assed. one year of time was barely enough for nes games, let alone a psx game. if you think the game sucks, either stop playing it, or do play it and learn to appreciate the games that got time to develop properly and are good games as a result. We all know that. I don't see the point in repeating this information.
