How am I sposed to do that, I don't have the book.
Hard as hell to find info on a cut character from a niche game from the 90s.

I don't want to be rude, but do you have any actual proof said cut member and χ -kai- are the same character? As far as I can tell, it's just your personal headcanon.

Well, who else would it be? Can you produce any information regarding some other character or is mine the only obvious answer?

The only thing the book tells about the cut X-Hunters member is that she existed at some point in development. That's it. There's nothing implying χ -kai- is related, aside from him also being the X-Hunters member.

I just don't see why so many people feel the need to fight me over this. (Especially with so little evidence to support otherwise other than "Well he's male in Xdive") Is it because they can't stand seeing a strong, female leader?

I have had this argument with more people than you might believe in only the past year and a half, people that would sooner take it to their grave than simply admit she's female just because Capcom changed her to a guy in XDive.

No, because, again, it was never stated χ -kai- is the cut female X-Hunter. It's just as possible that his existence as a character was inspired by her, without him being her.

Like I said, it's just more hard-headedness with no clear evidence backing it. I'm leaning on the 'some guys just hate strong female characters' argument. Don't see why it's a big deal otherwise; after all it's kinda my thing, not theirs.

Like I could get if I was trying to argue Bass as female or something like a mainstream, well-known and established character who's gender has already been set in stone throughout the series, but.

This is a cut character from a game from the 90s: why argue over what gender/position they were intended to be? Unless it's the folk from Capcom themselves I really don't care to discuss it any further.

I didn’t think there was any intention for that. It was a simple expression of disagreement, so I don’t think there was anything particularly wrong with what I said. I have Kai on the ignore list so I can’t see their messages without clicking show ignored replies but if my disagreement triggered a hostile response from them then I don’t think that’s my fault.
