Me too, but I think that's somehow a gacha game. But somehow it also makes me curious.
It's a gacha, so I avoid playing, but it's FF, so I still gotta check it out.

Oh hey a thread about the games I'm playing
The fact that i just discovered you are a gamer is deeply disheartening......i can't believe someone i have a hate boner for shares the same hobby as i do.....good bye gamers I'm quitting gaming! I CAN'T BE IN THE SAME ROOM AS WIWI IT HURTS MY SOUL

FFCC: Echoes of Time
FF The 4 Heroes of Light
FF4: The After Years
FF Dimensions 1 and 2
FF12: Revenant Wings (never finished it)
FF Mystic Quest (never finished it)

And I still need to play FF16 and FF13-2.

Mine is VII rebirth , IV and replaying IX and maybe VI ( and being strong enough to not buy viii )

Get weak and buy VIII, it's awesome. And get rid of that "maybe" because VI is the best one.

But I don't want to level up a million characters 😭 .

I kinda want to get viii but then I remember that I'll probably not like it

What if I told you... you only need to level up Celes? Get her to, say, level 40 ASAP and then EVERYONE will be level 40. Can't reveal how that works without spoilers, but yeah, Celes is the only character you need to focus on.

a few of the ff games auto level up some characters when playing the game. several characters in ff4 jump up to whatever the party level average is. you can supposedly level terra up to lv 99 in the first dungeon and everyone else who joins will be at that level.
you can almost legally cheat in ff8; and even beat the game with no level ups.

You keep mentioning mediocre characters , where is my boy Sabin and myself?

No I shall not fall for 8!! * sudden flash of quistis appears on my mind * I must resist

I may not like the game much, but she does fires missiles out of her boobs.

Sabin is mediocre on the FF VI meta, but he is very strong when you get him.

This game has been amazing. i started my first play through of ffx about a year ago and decided to pick it up again earlier this week. i've chosen to play my first time with the expert sphere grid. i haven't had much trouble until the great walls that was seymor flux and sancutuary. even then, they felt more like hurdles i had to do a few grinding sessions to jump over. not really that terrible.

however i felt as if some of my build choices have been odd, but at the same time not a huge problem? tidus and wakka both i've sent down tidus's path also steal and use. yuna and lulu i've sent down a mix of both of their pathways making them both white & black mage hybrids. kimahri is mixed between auron's and wakka's paths. rikku is on a little bit of tidus's path and some of the later parts of yuna's. with auron being the only one dedicated to their original skill set.

right now im at the zanarkan ruin's doing a little more grinding before i get to meet yunalesca. i'm very much in love with this game. to the character design and the setting and story. the sphere grid, it self has been impressive. every character felt useful at some point. it wasn't like when i played ff7 and ff8 where i felt like only 3 characters where useful and the others where benched, because i would just put all the best materia/GFs on the same 3 characters.

the focus on the ocean and water matches the sound of ocean waves that plays in the ps2 bios menu. it makes final fantasy x feel like its intergrated into the console as a part of it's core, rather then just a game released for it.

do you like it?

international ver.
okay. i was a bit confused because of the ps2 cover, but you were talking about stuff you can only do in the internation/remaster version.
it doesn't matter in the end how you build your characters if you are going for the end game content. everyone will be overpowered when you get to that point.

ah, that makes more sense.

also i forgot to add that the mandatory blitz ball segment was so infuriating that i chose to ignore it thus far and didn't bother to recruit any new players. if i get the opportunity, i might go back for that now that i've gotten over it.

It only matters how you grow up your characters if you don't plan to complete the sphere grid completely. But if you want to finish all the extras you will have to.
