the binding of isaac is my boring answer, so if you want a more unique one, i really like toejam and earl for the sega genesis. its probably my favorite genesis game, such a unique game, especially for the time. world of horror is also pretty cool, and that's as someone who doesn't even like DnD all that much

- Lufia 2 gift mode (SNES)

- Pokemon rescue team ( mainly th ones in the DS)
- Shiren the wanderer (SNES, GBA, PSP, DS)
- Torneko's dungeon (PS1, GBA, SNES)
- Chocobo dungeon (honestly skip the first one on the PS1 play the second one)
- Baroque (PS1)
- Azure dreams (PS1)
- Record of lodoss war (DREAMCAST)
- Time stalkers (DREAMCAST)
- Asuncia (PS1)

It was my first roguelike and is still my favorite. Risk of Rain is runner up.
