Can't remember the name of that game from your past?

At this point. I've pretty much gave up, but I'll try. Memories of that game are very vague but here's what I remember.
Low polly graphics like characters from FF7. Black sky. Scenery is grayish chrome buildings. It's action/platformer/slasher. And the thing I remember the best is that character dual wields swords and in that demo you can find some other sword that you can equip. I found this game on a disc from a gaming magazine somewhere back in 2004.
Do you remember the console? or was it a pc game?

The only games I can think of are Dual Hearts, Blood Will Tell and Samurai Western.

Help me find this one please.

Its a PC game around 2005-2010 I believe, its the same era as Bejeweled and Heavy Weapon Deluxe where Popcap games are everywhere. Speaking of Bejeweled, the game has the same genre, match 3 game. The setting of the game is outer space I believe with different spaceship and character accompanying them. Also I believe the game have like different space level with different characters on it too.

I've been trying to look for this one for ages but with no success ::sadkirby

Is it any of these?
AstroPop (2004)
Puzzle Quest: Galactrix
Starlaxis: Rise of the Light Hunters

I'm gonna need some help on this one (pretty please):

PS2 game, wouldn't know which year. Fought with my cousins for the right to play with them (as you do, as the younger cousin).

It was sort of a MTX vs ATV thing, quads & bikes in the same game, but I'm not sure it had the official licensing. I think I remember a cast of cartoonish-ish characters to choose from, like you'd find in SSX; maybe a rocker chick in the lot?

It was on the "arcade" side of things, you could do backflips and kick your opponents off their bikes. From what I can recall, there were offroad races and stadium races.

All I can say is that it's not Freekstyle.

It was PC.

No, graphics looks to good, it didn't have samurai/western entourage. Setting looked more close to near future/modern day.

I was thinking Nightmare Creatures. But that's set in the 19th century. It did have a black skybox and low poly graphics though. But a lot of games looked like that. Nightmare Creatures did have a Windows release. The sequel did not. I thought it did all this time too. But Wikipedia says no. That game takes place in 1934 so the buildings would be closer to modern. But no PC release.

Is it any of these?
Motocross Mania 3
Jacked
Freestyle Metal X
ATV: Quad Power Racing

After looking into it, seems like it was ATV: Quad Power Racing 2 that I was thinking of, probably mixed up with a similar MTX game that I'd seen back then.

Many thanks. Every so often I'd try to look it up and tire myself out instantly playing the wrong game.

I'm trying to remember the name of a really bad PS1 driving game. It could have been PS2 but I'm pretty sure it was PS1. The car design was very cartoony and it was really hard to stay on the track. The control was awful. It was so bad me and my brother played it to make fun of it.

It's not Choro Q. I don't think any of the PS1 games in that series were released in the west.

I also want to add that I think the tracks were elevated or floating and you could fall right off into the abyss. I'm pretty sure at least.

I have not really played it myself but maybe Motor Toon Grand Prix for the PS1 :)

When I was in grade school, I played a game on an old Mac (80s era Mac, that is). It had a bear as the player character. I think it was either an isometric game or a side-scroller with vertical parts. It was likely an edutainment game, as I played it on a school computer.

Hi everyone,

I’m desperately trying to find a PC game I played during my childhood, likely around the early 2000s. I haven’t been able to identify it yet, and I’m hoping this amazing community can help me solve this mystery.

Here’s what I remember about the game:

  • Theme: It had a dark atmosphere, similar to a prison, with cages visible in the levels or background.
  • Score menu: The score menu featured a prison scene in the background, including cages, which left a strong impression on me.
  • Visuals: Colorful balloons would appear on the screen, probably as part of a celebration or after completing a certain objective.
  • Release period: I believe the game was from the 2000s or perhaps earlier. I was born in 2000 and played it when I was very young.
  • Platform: It was a PC game, likely running on Windows 95, Windows 98, or possibly through a DOS-based emulator.
  • Language: I’m not sure if the game was in English or French.
I’ve already explored forums like Vogons and Reddit and received suggestions like Cool Spot, but that’s not the game. I also checked compilations like Game Pack CD: 40 Best VGA Games, but unfortunately, I didn’t find it there either.

If any of this sounds familiar to you, or if you have even the smallest hint or idea of where I could look (compilations, shareware, etc.), I’d be extremely grateful for your help.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance! 😊

I remember playing a game, a platformer, you would choose between 3 characters and they had different powers. there would be some kind of monsters you would kill on the way. Characters were some kind of cats (I guess). They were drawn like sonic. I dont remember the atmosphere but it was not dark, I guess it was colorful. I played it on a clone console at 90's, I guess it played NES and SNES games.

I'm not sure which ones made it to the mac if any, but could it be one of the Stickybear titles? Stickybear Spellgrabber is a single-screen thing where you're collecting letters to spell a word but the viewpoint is skewed slightly to give the platforms depth?

Wow, I was worried nobody would have any idea what I was talking about. I can't say for 100% sure, but I think it was Stickybear Spellgrabber, as it has all the aspects that I remembered the game having. Thanks for finding that.

Did you think I found my game? Can someone help me?

That sounds like Kyatto Ninden Teyandee (Samurai Pizza Cats Anime) for the Famicom?

The game I'm looking for is a late 90s/early 2000s PC 3D space combat dogfight type game like Colony Wars but more responsive and with faster paced combat gameplay. I remember it was mostly a point of view of the inside of the ship with a window to the outside though it might have had different camera angle options. There were characters speaking an alien language on coms, I think one of the ENG speaking characters said something like "You see that? That was ME!". This was probably a Demo that came preinstalled with our family's HP Windows ME desktop, and no I don't remember the model. Included was another game which might have been developed or distributed by the same company in a set of demos. This game also had a name I can't remember it was a top down isometric 3d sci-fi type action game where your character/ship kind of looked like 75% of a pizza. It probably took place on an alien planet and you wandered around a maze.
