No. It is too expensive. I might as well just buy an Xbox because at least they can do emulation of their hardware right.
That's being in complete denial, and delusion. If they get away with it, that will not only be the normal price the games (if the price sells why to lower it) as they will not come in the card. All the industry will move to digital games, access codes and game-key cards. There are no $90 games.
There's nothing to get away with; none of the games cost $90. You're mad over something that isn't even true.If they get away with it
Than don't buy it.the point here is to feed or not to feed the monster
Ahahah! Sure, probably the very best Nintendo cult fan boys members, will get the physical version discounted. :-) Seriously though, I hope you are right. Good luck! There's nothing to get away with; none of the games cost $90. You're mad over something that isn't even true.

Kinda funny how you cut full sentences to reply to them the way you want. There's nothing to get away with; none of the games cost $90. You're mad over something that isn't even true.

That is amazing. It's a pity Switch 2 games are not all download only, because that way I would save tons of money :). Sorry to say, but bought digital games and downloaded games look both the same, so I will not pay a cent for them.I'm better off saving for a new PC, or even Better a Steam Deck and fill it with Indie games and Emus
Games going for 90 € for Europe
I'm baffled some Switch 2 Games physical release won't even include the game in the cartridge...
They are just keys so you can download them online... on Switch 2's Hard Drive/Flash... not even the cartridge

What do you mean? What has Nintendo actually done wrong in this situation? Adjust their prices based on tarrifs and inflation?dissapointed for now with the way Nintendo is handling the situation

Nope, I was 80% sure I won't get it, the fact you still need to download the game despite having physical cart just pushed it to 99%.

I thought it was pretty straight forward, but just scrolling through this thread and various news articles I see all of the misinformation being spread around. They ignore CD Project Red being proud that they're launching the full Cyberpunk 2077 game with it's dlc fully on a 64GB Switch 2 game card while looking at Bravely Default and Street Fighter 6 being on Game Key Cards thinking all Switch 2 games are on Game Key Cards. I know in the ideal world Game Key Cards shouldn't be a thing, but it's a step above buying Mega Man X Collection on Switch and getting half of the games on a cart and the other half on a one time use digital code that expires.• Some confusion over physical games vs the game keys
Yeah I'm aware, the way Ninty worded it now sounds like every single game has mandatory download requirement. If I can't play it directly outta the box, I don't own it, I don't like that.Did you know that this is nothing new and was already on the first Switch, only now they've labelled it more clearly? On Switch, these are games that have the words ‘internet download required’ on the box. In them you have a cartridge, but the whole game(s) are not on it and you have to download them.

And just for information - Switch 2 preorders officially start on 9 April. Shops that already have preorders are simply trying to milk you out of your money to overpay.
