So far I'm really excited for .Hack//Z.E.R.O., especially since cc2 has full reigns on the project. It's slightly disappointing that it's a reboot of sorts, since I love long and interconnected stories, but I'm still very excited to see how the gameplay and story pan out.
I have cautious optimism for Hyperfunk, the sequel to Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Before it released, I was immensely hyped up for BRC, but then it came out with a $40 price tag while offering nothing really new compared to Jet Set Radio Future. The game itself is fun, but it's little more than a slightly more accessible version of JSRF with more modding capabilities since it uses Unity.
I'm still really looking forward to the release of Hark the Ghoul, as with the advent of Lunacid, we're getting a lot more "field-likes" in the indie scene. I'll have to play the demo again, but the aesthetic of Hark the Ghoul is very nice and I'm excited to explore more of its world once released. (sidenote, I've been playing Verho: Curse of Masks lately and while I think aesthetically it needs work, the gameplay is pretty good and I do think it's leveling system is slightly better than Lunacid's, which is why I'm so excited for Hark the Ghoul, since it seems that it'll be meshing the more interactive systems of Verho and the artistic merit of Lunacid.)
Quick round of more games I'm looking forward to that I'll elaborate on if people want: Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Tower Of Tears, ELDRIMAR, ALARIC, SHRIMP GAME: OVERKRILL, Gunmetal Gothic, Luminous Nights, Pale Abyss, and WORLD OF DOGS. (there's obviously more but I wanna keep the list at least a little brief and these are what I'm looking forward to the most.)
