Any baseball fans around?

Not a baseball fan, but I've played some baseball games on the NES. I like how simple and accessible sports games were back then.

What the fuck did I just watch?

I was completely checked out by the fifth inning, dude.

Sorry, bro. I feel for Jays fans.

Vargas and Hancock are our worst pitchers. Jays hitters are checked out or something. IDK how to explain it.

It's an abysmal team effort so far.

I'm not mad about getting nuked by Raleigh, Naylor or Rodriguez, nor about getting out-dueled on the mound... But this is far from the team that murdered the Yankees.

It feels like we left everyone but Springer on the Bronx.

Hopefully a T-Mobile Park reset is what we need to make this competitive.

Good game BJs. Not that shocking, too good of a team to get swept. Kirby was not dialed in today and we used the dregs of the bullpen so the score got out of hand. Onto Game 4 with Castillo and a rested bullpen.

Castillo vs Scherzer could be a match for the ages.

Vladdy always amuses me, going 0-7 in the first two games, then threatening a cycle on the very next one while going 4-4. We hadn't had a player that fun to watch since the late, great Doc Halladay.

Still... I get the feeling that the Ms just ran out of time and were actually feasting on Yariel.

This was the first game I believe we won with authority (even during the other day's blowout, the Ms offensive was still showing up til the very end... which just didn't happen tonight).

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, since these are the kinds of games we built this team for, the ones we got Max and Shane to win (NGL, getting strong Trading-For-Cone/Signing-Morris vibes as of late).

Tomorrow is gonna be the true test, though: the Miller vs Gausman rematch.

::nervous-prinny::nervous-prinnyit’s all cool, tie series right?
It's been a visitors' series so far. And I'm sure as hell not counting the Ms out yet -- I want to return to Toronto with the advantage because I'm not sure is gonna hold back at Rogers' Center.

Specially not since Canada's very own Naylor continues rampaging every time he steps into the batter's box.

My prediction for tonight's game is that it's going to be the first back-and-forth of the series -- Gausman is the only pitcher in our rotation you have actually seen before the ALCS in any meaningful way and that's going to factor in hugely on the rematch.

As for Miller... We need to jump him before he finds his groove and gets locked in on his rhythm, otherwise we would be cooked.

I have a lot to say, actually... But right now, all I can really comment on is the fact that we had a bases loaded, no outs scenario and managed to blew it without scoring, whilst you turned it into a Grand Slam.

The best team won.

All I can say is that it would really suck not to make the World Series for the first time in M's history after that game. Almost lost my mind after the Suarez Grand Slam. It would be very on brand for the Ms to have it go to 7 and lose though. Trying to be zen about the whole thing.

I REALLY don't think there will be a Game 7, man... And that's largely because of crass managerial errors by Schneider tonight -- putting Little in on a high-leverage situation and not pulling him out after it was clear that he couldn't find the SZ two batters in, then have Seranthony due emergency relief just to get shattered is the kind of thing that could cost us the series. We are now down two arms with just a day to rest while leaving the most important game in recent franchise history riding on a rookie with less than 10 games of experience.

I love the Jays and I think we have elite hitting, but we are taking on water from the mound against another elite hitting team.

I haven't watched baseball in years but I do like the Braves. Might get some beer and check out a game here soon.

This may just be the greatest series I have ever watched... So much so that I'm almost indifferent as to who actually wins it -- I'm in for the ride now! And also enjoying some damn good baseball.

As far as I'm concerned: if Seattle wins, then that's history being made.

If we win and take on the Dodgers, then I'll consider it revenge for 1981.

I kind of can't lose at this point.

Told you it was going to 7. I have no idea who is going to win, but I know it will probably cause me to stress the f out. Hopefully the Mariners got all their fielding errors out of their system and it is a competitive game.

Bittersweet, man. Bittersweet...

I thought the Mariners played a much better series and that Naylor was the undisputed MVP. I really wanted to see both in the World Series.

I'll enjoy the WS a whole lot more than I did the ALCS because it's not against a team I was actively rooting for for much of the season.

Some notes:

We all thought Springer was dead at the start of the season, now he's the team savior... Baseball.

Ernie Clement has, somehow, hit better in the postseason for us than goddamn Paul Molitor. I bet the Guardians are kicking themselves pretty hard right about now for releasing him.

Yesavage may just be our team ace -- he's steely under pressure and now he's gonna be on the biggest stage ever.

Even as we were exchanging blows with the Ms, the fucking press said that we would be unceremoniously swept by the Dodgers (the fucking ESPN guy even said that we could BOTH make the WS and it would still be a sweep). Now I'm fired up AF.

GO JAYS GO!

Well... Yesterday was ugly (although, I don't agree that we were utterly dominated -- we could have slain Yamamoto with just a little more luck).

I looks like tomorrow will be the last time Max Scherzer ever toes a Major League rubber. I don't love the guy, but he's been one hell of a player and I want to see him off with a win and, hopefully, another ring.
