Any baseball fans around?

There are probably other channels that also do this, given the restrictions this one is under, but I woke up at like 2 am and was recommended Japanese baseball with english commentary, pretty cool.

Its the Mariners year, sorry. (Watch them miss the playoffs after I jinx them)
I really DO hope that they make it all the way to the title -- they are my second favorite franchise and the one I have been rooting for ever-since the Expos were killed.

I love my underdog stories.

The Mariners have clinched the postseason!

We popping the champagne.

My son plays baseball in summer (not popular in Australia)and soccer(very popular in Australia)in winter but hates
playing sports video games. He calls them dumb as he reckons they are too easy

Crossing my fingers for the RGT baseball fan showdown!
Hell yeah!

As a side note: I love how we both root for the northernmost teams we could find (Alaska is defacto Mariners' territory and Canada is in the literal opposite side of the world for me ;D).

My father-in-law tried to teach me about the game but never understood anything (mainly because he doesn't speak the languages we share and I only understand some words of his native language) but I never turned down a good cold beer while watching a game, never know how's winning but isn't a boring thing to watch like some people says.

Well for me I've always liked Ken Griffey Jr. and then I got to visit Seattle and Safeco field and even scored a sweet Felix Hernandez bobblehead. So yeah I'm not a bandwagon, I've been waiting for this for a while.

That's sweet, man.

As for me... Been a Montreal Expos fan since ESPN showed one of their games in the late nineties, but I couldn't follow them to Washington -- I just couldn't.

So, Blue Jays it is and has been since the 2007 season.

I watched all 15 innings of that thing... That's peak baseball for the ages.

The Ms player I'm personally afraid of is Naylor -- guy's pure spirit. He can mash, play elite defense and be clutch AF.

Yeah Naylor is clutch. Polanco has been the MVP of the series though, cooking Skubal in the second game and delivering the game winning hit.

Everyone else in the lineup has HR potential but is inconsistent.

Kinda surprised you are not naming Raleigh, but I guess he didn't have a particularly strong game (although, his defense continues to be elite).

Agreed on Polanco, though, channeling his inner Edgar Martinez to deliver The Double: Part 2.

As for us... I'm so utterly pleased by the emergence of Yesavage and the massive improvement of guys like Clement, Barger, Santander and Gimenez (plus, the resurrection of Springer and Vlad finally becoming his playoff self) that my confidence is at an all-time high, even better than with the 2016 team.

I do wonder if we are gonna send Mad Max for perhaps the last playoff action of his illustrious career, though. He's not been good, but I'd want to give him that last hurrah.

Cal Raleigh has been incredible overall yeah that's true, this last game not so much, but he did have that clutch throw to second base. And same with Julio Rodriguez but he is a bit inconsistent because he likes to chase low and outside the plate.

Looks like we are going to be without Bo for the ALCS.

But, on the other hand, Mad Max and Bassit are ready to make starts (likely sharing one).

Well... That was ugly.

A leadoff, first-pitch homer had promised a completely different game.

Oh, well... We play again tomorrow!
