I had seen quite a few ads for this thing in the months leading up to its release, and I finally managed to catch an episode of it.

I gotta say, it looks really neat.

I also want to point out Disney's boldness here — it's been far too long since they last committed to a new IP this fiercely, greenlighting it and aligning its production schedule with the actual 2026 FIFA World Cup so it would drop right in the middle of the tournament.

You could say that it's trying to ape the tournament to maximize viewership (which, yeah, very likely), but it's still cool to see because it also works the other way around by making kids give a damn about the World Cup between episodes of the show.

I like the characters, the concept, and the overall design, but I'm not sure if it's for me. There's something not quite clicking there.

I like the characters, the concept, and the overall design, but I'm not sure if it's for me. There's something not quite clicking there.

This kinda feels like what if Avatar TLA and Inazuma 11 got mixed in together.
