Mariners vs Yankees 1995 postseason is peak Mariners. We haven't done much worth celebrating since.

I've been playing a good amount of MLB Pro Spirit on my phone, it's the MLB version of Professional Spirits Baseball Ace from Japan. I used to play the Japanese one previously, but lost my save when I switched phones awhile back. It's a really good "sitting at the doctor's office, let's kill some time" kind of game.

I used to be an LA Dodgers fan. HUGE fan!!!

The strike in 1994... millionaires on both sides fighting for nikels while hard working people struggled... killed baseball for me.

Haven't watched since.

On a related note, I stopped watching the NBA when Magic Johnson retired.

Started watching again when Shaq came to the LA Lakers.

Stopped watching when LeBum came to LA.

the only sports games that i'v played are the nes baseball game, mario sports games, pangya fantasy golf [psp], blizball [ffx] and both rumble roses game.

I'm a big baseball fan, probably my favorite sport. I follow the StL Cardinals in real life. There's a lot of great baseball video games from over the years, Backyard Baseball was one of my first computer games back in the day. Many people point to MVP Baseball 2005 as the pinnacle of the sport in video game form.

I also quite like Super Mega Baseball and Out of the Park Baseball on PC. The SMB series has an incredible team creator tool that peaked with SMB3. OOTP is probably my go-to now but has simulation and manager/GM gameplay only. Now, if only we could get The Show on PC...

Don't watch where i am, but would love to.

Not sure if it has gone the same way as boxing, or other sports, being damn boring, fixed or and more about the drama then the actual sport. Might just be me being jaded as a result of my age.

I did used to enjoy the movies based on base ball, like:

Mr Base ball,

A league of their own,

Major League,

Field of dreams and so much more.

Loved them, and they happen to be 80s / 90s movies which made them so much better imo.

Hay they are both kick butt in my opinion, but 2 is a rare in that it definitely improves on the first.

I don't want to talk too much about the Mariners because they have disappointed me before but something about this season feels different. They are struggling with injuries and they are still in first place. There's always a chance things go downhill, but it is nice to have hope.

I am into baseball in a huge way too!
But it's very hard to keep up with in Australia. I used to watch it when I had off days from university because they only play it in the middle of the day. I love baseball games too, Spent ages on one piece going baseball for gba and wii sports baseball. Currently I got a baseball game for my playdate about a guy who can't cope with waiting for a sequel for his favourite baseball game so he plays all these clones.
