What is The Most Underrated and Hated Zelda Game?

What's the general consensus on the Link's Awakening remake like now? When it released people were hating hard, but I quite liked it. The art style in my opinion was fun and different and it really was a good way to translate the GBC style into 3D well.
As we know they tried to do something similar with Pokemon BDSP but those games are bad for a multitude of reasons, I honestly enjoyed the Link's Awekning remake a lot though.
I enjoyed it. I wasn't the most fond of the dungeon builder though and my only complaint with the remake was locking some heart pieces to dungeon making. Made it feel like a chore to 100% and is why i still choose the DX version for replays.

That's awesome I read that there will be more of this sort of thing this year!
Super excited for it. March 1st release, $129.99.

I literally don't see the issue about the blur on the screen's edges simply because I focus on the center so I don't take too much attention.

On the other hand I am not sure why the game lags sometimes because it's not a 360° 3D game like BotW...

My biggest complaint is that Link feels a bit slower in this game than on the Gameboy, I don't know if it's because of the screen size vs the GB resolution so it appears slower yet I feel like Link could've been 105% faster.

I don't care about 100% that much but I do agree they shouldn't have locked them behind a mini-game, it'll be like locking heart pieces behind the photo quest in DX.

Ancient Stone Tablets, the BS version of Link to the Past, is the most underrated game in the entire series.
I'd love to play it if there was a working ROM.

Same with BS Zelda No Densetsu.

Let me guess: the Repo?

Last time I didn't see these and the roms I've gotten online were faulty/buggy.

Are there Week 1 and Week 2 for ZND?
I'm not sure about week 1 and 2, I haven't played it that far yet, I just snagged some Satellaview bios and launched the roms to see if they worked, nodded my head and put them on the backlog. I'm 99% sure I got them from the Repo though.

@Ikagura Yeah, they're on the Repo. You gotta search for BS Zelda

Link x Malon <3
Playing Ocarina of Time now and, it looks like a romance anime sometimes, we have the childhood friend with Saria, the genki girl with Marlon, the Tsundere with Princess Ruto and the main girl being Zelda.

The girls cant resist the yahh, haaa and ahhhh, it is impossible

I think that Princess Zelda being with Link kinda doesn't make sense since she's nobility (but in some of the timelines Link is a knight so it could work).

I think that Saria and Link cannot really work because Kokiris are eternally young and they're more like forest spirits than actual people (this explains the Korogu shape).

Maybe they didn't want to do more with Ruto because she's not even a hylian so this could have looked strange.

Sages are also supposed to dedicate their lives to seal darkness and the demon king.

To be honest, it was more about their relationship, a lot of scenes reminded me of old slice of life romance anime.

Zelda being nobility is not really a problem, marriage with peasents was not uncommon when they were influential, also the king can concede nobility title.

About Saria and Ruto, it is Japan.

However, I like Marlon and Link relationship and chesmitry, specially knowing about Link rescueing the alternative version of her in Majora's mask, poor Marlon, if I not mistaking, the Link from Twilight Princess is the decendent of both of them in the Manga

I'll never get tired of that intro
I gotta replay this, it's been too long.
When it released I loved it so much I played through it twice almost back-to-back. Still in my like top 5!

I've been tempted to replay it but I may do it on a modern 3DS emulator in HD.

Man I miss Totk.
After a lot of internal debate and struggle of having no decent controller to use with all the buttons working, I realized that Totk at some point became my favorite Zelda and it took me some months to finally admit it to myself. In spite of the jank-ass physics engine and the way the cutscenes are copy-and-pasted from every other Sage cutscene, I think the story and gameplay along with everything else in the game make it stand apart from everything else in the series, including spin-offs. It's fresh and interesting and provides a lot of things to do, and an immense amount of player freedom to tackle any potential goal in mind, in whatever order is most feasible for you; provided you have some basic requirements met or, in most cases, simply know how to build the iconic Air Bike. The gameplay is legendary and far beyond anything the series has attempted thus far, and despite the overall public opinion of it's inferiority to Breath of the Wild, I find it to be far superior in every way; Breath of the Wild merely serves as a precursor to all that Tears of the Kingdom has to offer for a whole new type of adventure.

One thing that Totk does that I definitely prefer over Botw are the shrines that take away your equipment and make you defeat a group of enemies with what the shrine provides over the 20 or so tests of strength, where you're better off doing them really early on so you're not wasting good gear on a weak robot.

I do too, but I hate not being allowed to pull build parts in shrines. ::sadkirby

WHAT ZELDA???? I was told it was the Legend of Archnine

I'd be eager to wait for the next big top down game while waiting for the next mainline 3D one but I'm crossing fingers for it to be neither a remake nor a game reusing ALTTP's Hyrule.

Same, I’ve begun playing ALBW lately and it’d be nice to have more whimsical renditions of that instead of another massive budget 40 hour game.

Echoes of Wisdom at least expanded this version of Hyrule but I'm also for novelty (even if it's not a different kingdom like in the Oracle games).

Twilight Princess' Hyrule was like OoT's but was still different enough.

Good shout, I’ll def pick that up. Haven’t touched my switch in years but it sounds like my thing.

Echoes of Wisdom is fun AF because of it's insanely broken mechanics. If you don't enjoy playing the game as Nintendo intended, you'll most likely find some other way to have a good time of it.

Was in love with Wind Waker as a kid, but could never play it (nor knew anyone who did).

I beat and 100%'d what I could of Wind Waker without the stupid GBA adaptor. Didn't know anyone that ever had that thing. I did it just to start a new game and use the Lobster clothes.
Then I 3-hearted it and was done with it forever.

I still stand by my stubborn and grumpy opinion of not wanting the first Gamecube Zelda to be all cartoonish and silly, despite having thought of it as an at least 'decent' game. Oh, other than digging for Triforce pieces. That sucked and was a lazily-concieved tedious waste of time.
