Your favorite games that no one praises

Mortal Kombat 4 is one that immediately comes to my mind, haha, i love this game, i think it has the best kombat of the 4 classics.

AC: Revelations also comes to mind, this is my favorite AC and to be the conclusion to Ezio's chapter, i see nobody talking about this one ever, all the talk about Ezio are about 2 and Brotherhood, which is sad, because this is an amazing game.

And for last, The Godfather 2 game, i absolutely adore the 2 Godfather games, but the 2nd it's my go to, and it's not really a game that anyone talks about i don't think, at least i never see people praising it like i would, hahaha.

I have never heard anyone talk about Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure; it is a good Rhythm Mystery game that takes advantage of the 3Ds for wacky controls throughout its mini-game style Rhythm games.
Sega, please continue the series.

I game I got it randomly from a GameStop, A Witch's Tale, a Nis tile where you play as a little witch girl who thinks they are too good for school and ends up releasing an old witch by accident and now has to fix it.
I really like it cause your party consists of Liddell ( The little witch herself.) and two dolls.
The way you get more dolls is to find them on the overworld and do maybe an out-of-the-way puzzle or two.
I always have a soft spot for finding party members.

View attachment 4366It is one of the two games that got me into turn-based JRPGs
What I have always loved about this game is that instead of a menu to pick the abilities, it would be buttons like XX△X. The combos would be decided by the decals on your blade.
Yes, this could cause you to repeat the same combo chain, but I have always found it fun.
The whole idea of going into a dungeon, looting it, and destroying its core, having to hurry, grab the rarer items that spawn, and still get out with time left on the ticking down clock is fun.
Rhythm Thief is the king of 3ds games that isn't Nintendo made in my Opinion

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology made by Atlus is one of the best rpg I've ever played yet I don't hear many people talking about it. It's constantly over shadow by persona and smt I love those two series but please look at the little guys every once in a while

Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure kinda popular I think?I saw it in a few places even on tiktok.

A witch tale is one of favorites DS games ^^ I really like Liddell she so silly and the story is cute and interesting.

YS Series, their impact is bare compared to the likes of FF or Dragon Quest, but they are fine Action RPG's, the PSP Remakes of the First four and SEVEN being outstanding examples
Had never heard of the Ys games until I randomly found one on steam. Decided to go in blind starting with the first game and ended up ploughing through them until SEVEN, which I didn't like as much. Thanks for reminding me, I should get back to playing them. Ys 1-2 are especially memorable, at least to me.

Where They Cremate The Roadkill. It's one of these weird rpgmaker games, but instead of using the default turnbased system it attempts to do real time action combat and it kinda sucks. Add to that the game being naturally cryptic and very open ended both about what to do and its themes(its themed after collage after all) and you have a game that easily turns away most people. But like most of these games, there is a very unique and interesting experience behind the jank.

I won't know if it is popular on TikTok since I don't use TikTok.
The most I see of Rhythm Theif is people using the Rhythm Theif but its cursed in some memes.

Three PSX titles derived from as many classic anime, dating back to the eighties, two english translated a few years ago, and the first unfortunately not (available only in chinese translation ?‍♂️).

When you have time, you should add this translation to the archive (it has reached version 1.1 and compressed it weighs more than 65 MB).

There is also the option to choose between 60 and 50 Hz (along with the possibility of using a 16:9 resolution with the correct aspect ratio).

Legend of legaia on the PSX. The combat is a bit slow but it's really cool because you make combos to attack like in a fighting game but obviously in turns. View attachment 4326
I see a lot of love for this game online, but also a lot of hate, for me it seems like a controversial.

I never played because I hate game with slow combat and the story from what I heard is terrible but some people like yourself seem to love the battle system despite being slow.

which reminds me of Xenosaga 2, I know the battle system is slow and I normally hate that but I actually like the battle system of it, which I find wierd but I least I can be the wierdo that says they like the battle system of Xenosaga 2

Hey, thanks for the surprising news. I had missed the existence of this project. Is it already complete? I saw in that video that some parts are not translated (when Kenshiro is thinking). Then I preferred the japanese opening song, present in the second series of the anime also in Italy, rather than the italian one, although legendary.

Shadows of the Damned.
I hardly hear anyone talk about it but I really love to beat it over and over.
I have it on my wishlist. It looks neat.

This is the only translation into Latin characters that I know and not only is it complete, but it has also reached version 1.1

When this and other related videos were released, I took a look at the comments, and there were already thoughts requesting the restoration of the theme song 'Ai wo Torimose!!' ('Take back the love!!') and a desire to see the battle dialogues translated as well, however, the original author never responded on the matter (he stated that he used artificial intelligence to translate the dialogues, but perhaps he doesn't use any for voice recognition or maybe doesn't know how to insert them [I have no idea, ask him directly via YouTube comments or his email in the video description]).

@Spike
Last night I forgot about it, but to add to the archive, there are two more translations from this user known as Scorpion2k7: the first is 'Okami' for PC, PS3, PS4, and Nintendo Switch, while the second is 'PEPSIMAN'!!.

You did a great job; you left the original credit where it was due; you were fast; you compressed well with 7-Zip and made life easier for a lot of people, who aren't familiar with emulation.

However, even though I’m not the translator of this project, I didn’t expect it to be privately downloaded almost 700 times in less than 24 hours! (I already know I'll regret it when I try to find an original copy on the second-hand market! But now it's too late to complain, the fever of the North Star has not yet left all the bodies of this world).

Anyway, if you want to update the page, I’m attaching the English translation of the introductory video.

Threads of Fate for the psx once called the spiritual sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi it has a ‘weird’ leveling mechanics (e.g. you have to take damage to raise your hp). Loved the game the characters are in contrast to each other kinda like having 2 stories in one game.

The entirety of the "KILL THE PAST" Series is so good. I really wish more people knew about the series as a whole but it's cool to see No More Heroes got popular at least. Also here's a chart showing everything that's connected together

As for a newer game that I feel absolutely needs more eyes on it but will probably have a hard time with that is Star Fetchers: Escape From Pork Belly.
Amazing Short 1 hour experience, but it's like $7 and to make things confusing, despite the fact it's essentially a standalone game it's actually treated as a DLC for just "Star Fetchers" which right now is just a free prologue for a much larger game unlike pork belly which is a full completed experience.
Check It Out!

Some absolutely great tracks in that game too!

The first Buffy game on Xbox. It's dated by today's standards, but it was really cool at the time. I played it without ever having watched the show and thought it was really well-polished for a licensed game. The sequel was apparently not as good, and the first one is stuck on Xbox, there's zero chance it ever gets reissued anywhere.

I also really like the Disaster Report games. I haven't played the third one that's on PSP, but I've gone through the other three and it's one of those things where maybe they're a little janky, but that is part of the charm and I also appreciate the atmosphere of those games.
