Wishlist of games you wish got translated

By the by have any of you heard any news of Zill ol infinite plus translation project? i only know ages ago we had canceled project under mugster. but recently someone mentioned to me, that it was started again under different team.

Wachenroder for Sega Saturn is #1 on my wishlist. Very cool SRPG. I would give anything to play this game in English.

A lot of the people who worked on Serial Experiments Lain helped make this game.

It currently has a years old buggy partial english translation that isn't even hosted in the RGT repo. Crashes about an hour in. The whole script is already translated though on GameFAQs.

I'd forgotten about this damn game. This One:

So if I understand correctly, This isn't the Athena from KOF or the old Athena games. This is an Athena from another universe, where we get to see her get her Physic powers for the first time.
"Hey look it's Kensou, and even here, he's fucking friend zoned!"
Jesus Christ girl give the guy a fucking break.

ChainDive for the PS2

The Yakuza HD Edition for PS3 and, surprisingly, the Wii U of all things. It was a remaster of the first two Like a Dragon PS2 games with a few quality of life improvements and better performance, but it was only released in Japan. The closest thing we got to it are the fantastic fan made translation patches of the original releases by Sylwahan here, but unfortunately PS2 emulation is super finicky for me. (And both Kiwamis are hardly a replacement.) It’s frustrating because the HD Edition could be the most definitive versions of those games, and it would be a good opportunity for most fans to actually give the old games a try if it was properly translated on top of being ported on modern hardware.

what about ps2 emulation is finnicky to you? just curious

There are many and my most wanted change depending on which I thought about last, but right now I'm really interested in the Saturn Blue Seed RPG, and the Sega CD 3x3 Eyes RPG.
Both of them were made in-house by Sega's RPG development room, the same general team that made the excellent Magic Knight Rayheart Saturn action RPG, so they should be much better than your typical licensed RPG.
The PSX Athena game someone mentioned earlier is also high on my list. I love that late '90s, modern Japan psychic power stuff.
Marica: Shinjitsu no Sekai, a Saturn RPG with a modern city setting and a demon invasion looks cool.
Finally, there's a PS2 feudal Japan assassin game where during the day you go around town investigating your target in a kind of RPG/adventure way, and at night you perform the assassination in a stealth game way. I would play that for sure.

Tori no hoshi - Aerial Planet PS2. Very chilled out game. A so-called "sci-fi sky adventure", this game has you playing a kid stranded on a strange planet inhabited by hundreds of different kinds of birds. Armed with nothing but a solar-powered glider, you have to gain their trust and find a way to survive until you can find your father's research base somewhere on the other side of the planet. Think Pilotwings with a simulation element, an anime style, and a sci-fi bent, and you're just about there.

Great soundtrack also:

Pretty much all the games I wanted translated WERE translated since I've been online (1998 so...27 years. Damn!) But there is one that wasn't, and it's a shame, because there even exists a document on GameFAQS that already translated the text. That game would be Hiryu No Ken III. The best of this series we got was Flying Warriors on NES which you NEED to play.

I have a mighty need.

Vampir: Kyuuketsuki Densetsu for PSX is now also on my wishlist.

There's a youtube video that did a deep dive into this game recently. ... I'll link the video in case anyone else is interested:

The Vampie RPG that never left Japan
I love Dungeon Chill's stuff! They're one of the few YouTubes I actually do the Patreon for as well. Seems like a super nice guy and his content is dope.

Damn, never heard of this but now I'm seconding this one.

An insane ton of visual novels. Angel beats as an example.

Kidou Senshi Gundam: Ghiren no yabou (Ghiren's amibtion) series. One of them has a partial translation but I'd like the others.

Also Power Pros Baseball (2019-2020)
I'm generally not really into sports but this one has "Koshien mode" where you play as a coach trying to lead a highschool team to the pros in a simulator kind of thing which I find very interesting. It's kind of like Umamusume but you have quite a bit more agency.
