Wishlist of games you wish got translated

it not going to happen i know we all want all the super robot wars game to be english but at the end of day its not going to happen because no one dont want to translated these game since the game is full with mecha anime plot from other series and it is too much so we better off using guide or learn japanese until someone who a huge heart to translated super robot wars game
Hate to break it to you, but super robot wars fanbase has translated tons of SRW games, the real problem is that there's just so many of them.

Aaaaaand what is the title of this thread?
"

What are your gaming translation white whales? Games you want to see translated but feel it'll never happen?

"

Am sorry but come on mate.

On another note, this has nothing to do with the story or language, this games are not translated because of the space limitations on character speech boxes, a hacker is needed to reverse engineering and modify parts of how the text is pulled, someone else need to see how to make it fit.

THAT is what nobody is willing to do.

That IS a ton for a niche games being translated, the problem is, there is over 30 super robot wars games i believe, some games will take precedence, i for example want super robot wars F Final translated, but i expect that will never happen simply because it's one of the least important games in the series.

Keep in mind how many games there are to translate, even romancing saga 3 took nearly 2 decades to get a fully completed translation and that's from the SaGa series, one of square enix's most well known series.

The SRW/SWT series are actually some of the most fan translated of series out there, if we include official translations, 1/3rd of the series has been fully translated, while a few others are being worked on last i heard.

Also don't misunderstand me, i want the entire series translated, i'm just saying that the series has had a ton of work done on it, more than most series.

There are 50 i believe, but that is just splitting hairs, mind you i am on the same boat, i believe, just as the thread implies it is a white whale, the other fella said Z won't be trasnlated, which we already know, hence why i posted in the thread.

i just sick and tried to people keep asking about srw fan translation at this point i get it everyone want to play the series english but at the same time it is getting annoying and i dont want to keep saying it its not going happen until someone with huge knowledge with mech anime show and lore so yay

Sorcerian for Megadrive, graphically better than the original version, includes the same music without losing quality, It is the most complete version of all, one of the best action RPGs and one of the most customizable.
Sadly, the translation patch that has been made only translates the menus, but not the texts, it is a translation started in 2009 and since 2020 it has not been updated.

sorry but we came to comment what games we thought will likely never receive a translation, not what do you like or hate.

again, the post says white whales, its a reference to moby dick a white whale which does not exist and its the whole purpose of this, why not better comment a game you think will never get said translation AKA your "white whale" instead of acting like you have the definitive answer to a question NO BODY ASKED.

Tenchi No Mon 2: Busoden, the prequel/sequel to the PSP title Key of Heaven or Kingdom of Paradise

Luckily, i speak korean so it's not a big deal, but it would be nice to have an english patch.

If anyone has technical know-how, i'd be willing to translate the entire game from korean to english at no charge.

Seeing as how my last white whale got a fan translation (The story mode of Super Fire Pro Wrestling Special) and somebody already mentioned Summon Knight Swordcraft Story 3, I only really have one left.

Zen Nihon Pro Wrestling: Fight da Pon!

The chances of happening are probably slim. But it was my introduction to AJPW and the sprites are frickin' adorable.

Since my last comment here, my then white whale was thankfully translated, so I come again to manifest another one:

I'm still waiting for someone to do the gargantuan task to translate any game in the Felyne Village series. Either that or the first Boku no Natsuyasumi, which I know was being worked on but there's been radio silence on the project for a couple of years now afaik

My white whales for translation would have to be Wrestle Angels Survivor 2 on PS2, and Magic The Gathering on Sega Dreamcast

Brandish 3 (PC98)
Brandish 4 (PC version)
Shin Megami Tensei 2 (GBA version)
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner
Ganbare Goemon: Toukai Douchuu Ooedo Tengurigaeshi no Maki (DS, the last Goemon game ever made)
Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru: Hikari to Yami no Princess (It's the expanded PSP version of what Atlus translated for the DS as "My World, My Way") and a spinoff of the developer Global A's Dungeon Maker series. The DS game might not have sold very well or had many copies printed and Atlus didn't bother to translate the expanded PSP version. Pretty good game though.
Nanatama: Chronicle of Dungeon Maker (someone is working on this and publishing regular updates)
Dragon Quest Characters: Torneko no Daibouken 3 - Fushigi no Dungeon (either PS2 or the GBA remake honestly, but the GBA remake came later and probably has more content)
Dragon Quest: Shounen Yangus to Fushigi no Dungeon (the last Dragon Quest roguelike where you play as a young boy Yangus from DQ8 instead of Torneko)

I'd be happy to do so, but my issue is i only speak fluent korean, so it'd be a second ahnd translation from the source material at best

Wachenroder for Sega Saturn is #1 on my wishlist. Very cool SRPG. I would give anything to play this game in English.

A lot of the people who worked on Serial Experiments Lain helped make this game.

It currently has a years old buggy partial english translation that isn't even hosted in the RGT repo. Crashes about an hour in. The whole script is already translated though on GameFAQs.

I'd forgotten about this damn game. This One:

So if I understand correctly, This isn't the Athena from KOF or the old Athena games. This is an Athena from another universe, where we get to see her get her Physic powers for the first time.
"Hey look it's Kensou, and even here, he's fucking friend zoned!"
Jesus Christ girl give the guy a fucking break.

The only game(s) that bug me right now because I tried to translate on the past is the Busou Shinki games for psp...

Ronde, for Sega Saturn. I wish I had what it takes to tackle it... but my Japanese is so limited (N4 level without certification), and I'm neither a ROM hacker nor a programmer.

ChainDive for the PS2

The Yakuza HD Edition for PS3 and, surprisingly, the Wii U of all things. It was a remaster of the first two Like a Dragon PS2 games with a few quality of life improvements and better performance, but it was only released in Japan. The closest thing we got to it are the fantastic fan made translation patches of the original releases by Sylwahan here, but unfortunately PS2 emulation is super finicky for me. (And both Kiwamis are hardly a replacement.) It’s frustrating because the HD Edition could be the most definitive versions of those games, and it would be a good opportunity for most fans to actually give the old games a try if it was properly translated on top of being ported on modern hardware.
