I'd happily trade if I could. I've never seen it so wet here before.
Man same it's been so rainy for like 3 days here (including flood warnings). Wanted to go to a botanical garden today but got rained out. Finally stopped raining today but they closed an hour ago so gonna try again tomorrow

I suppose I shouldn't complain about the rain too much, this is one of the only days we haven't had a tornado warning lately. This weather has just been something else.

I was supposed to start on renovating the outdoor leisure and garden area when I got back to work, but now I'm not sure what they're gonna find for me to do.

Not too sure how that happened! Wanted to quote
"My telegraph still works, can I react with that?
Or maybe flag language?"

then response with the smoke signal gag. Oh well!
Just water under the bridge, don't worry.

"The RGT regulars & a water bottle are in an empty room. What happens?"
I drink the water, I was thirsty.
That's a bummer. Have you tried the bag of rice trick? Not that putting wet electronics in rice always works, but it could, who knows. It only costs rice and a bag at least.
I haven't, but this can actually make water damage with electronics worse. The reason that water damage for electronics is particularly rough is largely because of what the water leaves behind after drying, and sticking it in a bag of rice can get little bits of rice debris in there mixed in with all the minerals and such that might be in the water. At worst though, if I do end up needing a new phone, that's not gonna be the worst thing ever. The one I have right now has had a cracked screen for a while now.

It's so wet here that my shoes were still wet when I had to go to work today :loldog
Seriously though, it's raining way too much man.

I appreciate this ::dkapproves
The area I live in isn't super prone to flooding unless the ground was recently frozen or there's just tons and tons and tons of rain, so I haven't been too worried yet, and I don't live alone so it's not like I'm without a phone all the time or anything, just not one I can take around with me. Health-wise, outside of maybe needing to lose a good 30-40 pounds and just being stressed from recent events, I'm not doing too bad.

Even for Ohio, a state particularly known for weird weather (one summer we got snow and then the next day it was 80 degrees), this amount of storming and tornadoes are weird. We normally get like, one serious tornado warning in the summer and that's about it, but here recently it went from like perfect sunny summer weather to days of on-again off-again raining with the occasional thunderstorm and brief tornado. No tornadoes closer than like an hour and a half away from me, but still.

Thank you ::heart Like I said above, I'm mostly doing alright, just a bit annoyed and stressed at my phone situation. Hopefully it'll be a moderately painless situation to remedy. Either way they bulk of that is past and I'm home now so I can relax after another ridiculously slow day at work.

If we get one more tornado I'm gonna run outside and fistfight it. Wish me luck, guys.
I can imagine a miku punching a tornado

these tornados are caused by the emperor we need a wind drake ride onto one and slap the emperor to death

What half of the users here feel like today.

I was this close to also doing a Waterworld reference or meme lol.

Hopefully nothing major happens & bless y'all. Over here I only got snow melting. Mm, yup, it's as exciting as watching paint dry, watching grass grow, idk, take your pick.

Well snow is fun isnt it? It only rains here but we didnt get that today either gotta love dry weather

Personally I adore the rain, get a shit tone where I am too. It also means less sun, and I hate the sun, way to bright and hot for me.

Stay safe!

stay safe all the affected for the weather uwu

i am more of a rain person (obviously not the live risking one) as in my city rains pretty much 369 days a year. Soo is either you love it or hate it </3

i wish it rained everyday where im at, its hotter than the first 3 layers of hell
High heat is definitely worse than tons of rain to me, though I don't like either. I miss winter man, I wanted more snow and we barely got any this year.

I have mixed feelings on the ice. On the one hand, safer roads are nice, but on the other, I love icicles and the way that things look after the rare ice storm so much. When I was a little kid there was a really big blizzard where I was living at the time, and a pine tree near our house actually bent from the weight of the ice so that the tip of it was on the ground. There were also massive snow banks that were like 8 or 9 feet tall, which, when you're like 3 or 4 years old, look way bigger than that. Every blade of grass was like perfectly and individually encased in ice. I think a lot of that is why I really love winter kinda no matter how extreme the weather gets.
