As long as there's an actual game hidden in there I'm all for cutscenes!I want longer cutscenes, normalize getting a film with your games

Head rubs for me!!!!
Absolutely. This should be the norm for every game with cutscenes, and should be available on the first playthrough. GoW4 and 5 both have their issues, but the cinematics are very well done in both games. I think God of War 4 is brilliant tbf. It just needed Kratos' to get angrier.Add a skip button to your cinematic game.
Yeah MGS games are like the gold standard for cutscenes for me. Obviously not every game needs a tonne of cutscenes. Some games are so immediate that all you really need is the gameplay loop and you're set. But I've always leant more towards games that aren't just "score attacks" and I feel like cutscenes are a big part of that.I personally like these cutscenes like MGS1
Broke is preferring Midna's Imp form.I want to fuck Midna, Imp form mostly.
Woke is preferring the more conventionally attractive form? You’re not a true monster-fucker smh /jBroke is preferring Midna's Imp form.
Woke is realizing she's got the same spicy personality in her milf form.
...fuck I guess I'm broke.
From what I have seen in 4&5 kratos kind of tries not to get overly angry we see what happens in the heimdall fight if he loses himself to that rage again part of it is because he doesn't want to hurt his kid in the process I mean in the greek saga there wasn't much people on his side most of the time.Absolutely. My main problem with the cutscenes in that game is how it feels like they're trying to emulate there being a cameraman there, with it being all shaky and stuff. I don't really think it adds anything and kind of breaks my immersion.but the cinematics are very well done in both games
*Ahem*Woke is preferring the more conventionally attractive form? You’re not a true monster-fucker smh /j
This is my favorite image of all time.
Ohhhh shit Mr. Krabs we both liked Futo’s post at the same time Jinx you owe me a soda!
What's everyone up to this fine Sunday? Hopefully keeping warm and having a gay old time
Same here on the storms, although it looks like it's curving north and the worst might miss us now.Supposed to get some notable storms here today, so probably not much. Maybe D&D. Also hello all.

That's true, and there are a few occasions where we see him get pissed off. But they're so few and far between. I'd have liked if more time was spent in-game showing Kratos trying and failing to control his anger. From what I have seen in 4&5 kratos kind of tries not to get overly angry.
I think this is becoming more of a common feature of AAA cinematic story-telling. Sometimes it works for me, other times it just feels formulaic, or added for no reason. Shaky cam seems like an effect that's really difficult to get right. My main problem with the cutscenes in that game is how it feels like they're trying to emulate there being a cameraman there, with it being all shaky and stuff
I hope the storms miss You & Ranmy and you can get immersed in your campaign. Which campaign/ruleset are you running?Supposed to get some notable storms here today, so probably not much. Maybe D&D. Also hello all.

I've been playing Final Fantasy IV for the first time. I plan to cozy up with it and some coffee and ride out the storm if it comes.
I've been enjoying it a great deal. After FFVI and Live a Live, I've been on a bit of a 16-bit era Squaresoft kick.I really need to properly sit down and finish 4 sometime. Something always comes up to make me have to stop along the way. I've played enough of it though to know I really like it.
I hope on your way to meeting each other your characters successfully roll every stealth and pickpocket action and rob the whole city blind. It's been a lot of fun so far, and soon there's going to be an event that is going to cause several of my characters to interact more directly.
Perfect game to wait out a storm for sure. Which version did you decide on? Either way, all glory to BaronI've been playing Final Fantasy IV for the first time. I plan to cozy up with it and some coffee and ride out the storm if it comes.
I'm just playing the SNES original version. Since it's my first time, I kinda wanted to do it the way I imagined a lot of people played it first, plus I just love the SNES look.Perfect game to wait out a storm for sure. Which version did you decide on? Either way, all glory to Baron
How far in are you currently?I've been enjoying it a great deal. After FFVI and Live a Live, I've been on a bit of a 16-bit era Squaresoft kick.
I suggest the Namingway hack. Uses the SNES base but modernizes and beautifies it.I'm just playing the SNES original version. Since it's my first time, I kinda wanted to do it the way I imagined a lot of people played it first, plus I just love the SNES look.
