You're right. I used to play it when I was younger. No idea how I got as far as I did. It would feel majorly cathartic to beat it though.

We can probably tolerate terrible games better when we are younger because we are naturally lacking in critical thinking, analysis, and often enough, options, haha.

yeah thats nice, but thats context thats outside of the main game, so it doesn't count and, its dumb its not in the main game already, also they need to severily improve the writing for new Kratos too, he is soooooooooo boring. : )

Sony could've make this as a spin off. We first play in old GoW style combat and slowly transition to the new one as Kratos become less angery.

Hmmm I can't picture how this would be from a gameplay perspective changing gameplay mid game seems difficult thing to do

There's a point in GoW 4 when elves steal Atreus from Kratos and mid-cutscene Kratos activates Spartan Rage like the bar flashes up and everything. I'd have liked if there were more moments like that but when his rage was uncontrolled and it was only as the game progresses he could stop that from happening, but it also made fights harder as you wouldn't be able to activate "devil trigger" on command

Around this time of year, yeah. At least 4 or 5 a year. They usually don't get this bad though, it's the first time I've had to shelter in a good while.

at that point why i just don't play the older good ones, fans of the old style are not gonna like it and fans of the new style are not either, the two games styles completely clash betwenn each other. IMO.

I feel they intended to grow the character (a good thing) but they probably overcorrected.​

I'm pretty certain it was this. From a development standpoint, I can't say I'm too surprised, especially if you've ever heard David Jaffe talk about Kratos in the Twisted Metal The Dark past documentary. He mentions in that that both Kratos and Sweet Tooth ate these testosterone and rage fueled power fantasies of his. I wouldn't be surprised if a more modern dev heard that and wanted to develop the character beyond that since he's not really involved anymore.​

I should mention that the storm came over here too. I was at work for the whole of it though.
It’s still raining pretty bad, but the actual storm has passed.

I just checked, I think it might’ve moved my car? Like, slightly, but I did not park this way. The wind actually moved my heavy old van with a wooden desk in the back?! Wild.
