Which translation patch were you most eagerly awaiting?

I'm still waiting for Growlanser 1.

I would also love to see accurate fan translations for the Valkyria Chroncles games, and The Legend Of The Heroes Trails In The Sky games.

We need a translation of this game. It is not only Japan exclusive, but it is also THE ONLY Magic The Gathering card game rom to ever exist.

DQ11 3ds edition and tales of phantasia PSP
YESS OMG DQ11 3DS especially b/c the style is so close to Dragon quest 9 and that was THE game that got me into the series so its close to my heart.
  • Azumanga Advance. I know you can get around with google translate but i dont wanna keep picking up my phone just to build a whole deck. Plus it would make mastery and beating it way easier imo. The language barrier shouldn't make the game harder
  • The original japanese version of imagine ballet star left out a character and her arc. Also maybe a detranslation or whatever its called could be cool, i would be shocked if they left some other aspects out when bringing it to the us
  • Baroque Syndrome. Me want lore and me like visual novels

  • mermanoid. It looks so cool man a mermaid rpg sounds baller
  • Yaku: Yuujou Dangi. Pretty hyped about this one. I remember seeing a screenshot of the game on tumblr and being both fascinated and utterly horrified at the same time.

I'd say, persona 2 eternal punishment(psp), smt IF and amagami
IF's fan translation was a meme in the community for how long it took and the slapfights people had with Gideon about it, but hey, it did make it
in the case of amagami I got a little disappointed because the translation is divided in 2 versions, but it's a problem of the game engine so there's not much you can do about it, still totally grateful for the work they've done
there's one fan translation I know that it's still "in process"(considering how much time has passed, it's basically dead at this point)
as a kid I played the ace attorney games, almost all of them were translated to spanish except the investigations series, thankfully the first one got a fan-translation(shoutouts to the ones that made it, absolute legends), that's not the case for the second one, as far as I know it never got a spanish translation, a finished one that is, there was one group trying to do it, and supposedly they got to the third episode, but time passed, nothing else happened, and I just ended up playing the english version lol(Sebastian Debesté and Raymond Shields always, sorry capcom but you were late to the party)
patiently waiting for sakura wars 2 also...

For a while (ok, a looong while) I checked Summon Night 3's translation progress almost daily. I know I'm gonna throw parades on the street when that's finally out.

Other than that... I couldn't speak English til 2014, at which point almost every game I was interested in had long been patched.
thx this video game series looks cool ive never heard of it until now. it looks like a cross up of final fantasy tactics and disgaea together

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 1 on PSP (or Saturn) and Romancing SaGa 3, which still isn't fully translated. The original RS3 looks a whole lot better visually than the remake to me.

And the Atelier games. I doubt this would ever happen, but a translation of the PS1 version of Atelier Marie would be amazing as that would mean I could play it on my PS Vita. But the bigger priority would be Lillie, Judie, and Violet.

Edit: Remaster, not remake :)

Still waiting (and I'll still wait) for Yakuza Kenzan eng translation, last update on Tumblr page was back in 2022 but I wanna believe it'll be finished and released one day...
There is also Kowloon's Gate but I think it'll release next year
This was what I was gonna mention. They actually updated the Tumblr page. It says to expect more soon, there are like 12 pictures of the translation up. I also dug around earlier and I think (not entirely sure) that some of the people from the now complete Ishin translation are helping. Something to do with some of the old team being toxic or something. Hopefully it gets finished. Kenzan is the only one we need left in English to some capacity.

Well, someone mentioned Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan! so I'm gonna drop a few more I wish would get the treatment.

All of the non-english Sengoku Basara games, I found out about the series after getting into Dynasty Warriors and I'm really curious about them, there is a team working on one of them.

Samurai Warriors 3Z, Warriors Orochi Z, and Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce 2. These all have partial ones but they are from way back in the day before some of the newer techniques to change certain texts came out, so stuff like certain menus and cutscenes are just untranslated.

I think these translation projects are all really cool and I commend the people who work on them for taking the time out to do this, especially for abandoned games that the companies don't care to re release. One I thought was cool was the Ryu Ga Gotoku Ishin! translation that finally got released a couple days ago. Even after Ishin Kiwami they still finished their own project, so now English speakers have two choices of how they want to play. I played Ishin Kiwami first so I'm excited to play the old version and see the differences and some of the few things they cut.

Last Armageddon
Custom Robo (1 was translated)
Ace Combat 3 but full (translated)

of course, this combines my wishlist with ones that actually happened

Not exactly a translation but i'm still hoping to this day that someone will port Chrono Trigger's DS script to the SNES version.

The English translation of Metal Max 4: Gekkō No Diva.
I already played Metal Max 2,3, and Metal Max Returns (The SNES remake of Metal Max 1)
And they're great games you should try!

Yeah, but they said they were probably going to release a beta version of the English Patch.

Off the top of my head.

Segagaga
King of Fighters: Kyo
Moonlight Syndrome
Devil Summoner 1

No idea if any of them aside from Moonlight are actively being worked on but they would be awesome

I'd also love to try out the VN style mode from Rival Schools, that would be awesome

Devil Summoner on PSP is ongoing, Segagaga is in limbo but I remember one person on Reddit wanted to take a crack at it. There's also a second person on Reddit who's been MIA for more than a year.

Madou Monogatari for Sega Saturn
