It's fame comes from it's inclusion of various Jump characters packaged into a single game. Possibly the largest roster of characters a Jump game has ever had.I've never understood why this game is so popular. Aside from the few comic strips, the characters are all similar and equally tiny, the gameplay is repetitive and banal, the stages are flat and monotonous, like those in Bubble Bobble. Similar to an 8-bit game, it doesn't exploit the potential of the DS at all. Its fame is truly incomprehensible (and undeserved).![]()
What other game (excluding other Jump games and MUGEN) would allow you to see a Kenshiro Vs. Goku, Majin Buu Vs. Dio or Gintoki Vs. Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo etc.
It didn't have to be overly complex or in-depth, this is a fan-service game through out. If you're not a fan of any of these franchises then I don't think you'll find any value in it whatsoever.
