Which characters do you think will be added in Mario Kart 9

After watching the Nintendo Switch 2 trailer and seeing Mario Kart 9 being shown, I thought about making this forum to maybe guess which characters Nintendo will add to the game, whether new characters or ones that haven't been in a Mario Kart game in awhile, (not including that Mario Kart Tour game, since I've never played it).

I want to guess that maybe Monty Mole maybe a new playable character and maybe Koopa Paratroopa & Petey Piranha will be added as a couple of older playable characters.

Which characters do you think will be added to Mario Kart 9 when it comes out?

You know that's a good question! Who do you think they should add? We're missing some that could be added from DK, a few of the the earlier games and Odysee too. Harriet might be a good racer she's not hideous and she has a personality but I doubt they'll add her!

i saw some people saying that in the trailer there's 24 spots for characters in the starting line so that's at least 24 unique characters.
i think most of them will just be the old ones
Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi
Peach, Daisy, Rosalina
Yoshi, Toad, Shy Guy, Koppa, DK
the 7 koopalings and bowser
the baby versions of characters

I thought they added Dixie a while back? Nevermind! Apparently she's not in deluxe?!

Get Chunky, (but this Kong's one hell of a guy!), Lankey, Tiny, Candi, Cranky, King K. Rool and maybe some other Kremling characters.

No. Sadly, she's stuck in Mario Kart Tour. We got Funky Kong instead because he was in Mario Kart Wii.

Heck, Nintendo is handling Donkey Kong Country's 30th anniversary pretty decent so far by adding the DKL trilogy to NSO, all the DKC trilogy soundtrack on Nintendo Music app, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD release, and Donkey Kong theme park opening in Super Nintendo World, why not add King K Rool, Candy, Dixie, Kiddy, Tiny, Lanky and Chunky in the roster?

Considering that the new version of Paper mario: the thousand-year door came out not to long ago, it would be cool seeing some characters in Mario Kart 9

And if the game has DLC I would like to see some crazy collaborations like Sonic

No idea about characters, but I hope they'll bring back all tracks from MK8D and add even more. Gsmeplay os king, content is queen.

My main squeezes are Koopa Troopa and Toadette, so I'm probably safe. I hope they let Kamek stick around because it's the one I play if I'm not playing a small character.
