What would you declare as "The Worst Game" on any given platform?

Good question

Worst game ever? Real life thats short answer

Long answer? I only played more popular game franchises the worst i played was WarCraft 2 and Final Fantasy 3 and 2 even then these games are ok so that tells you how much "bad" games i played.

Very hard to say, as different games are rubbish in different ways.

Out of the ones I've played somewhat recently, PS1 Vanishing Point is most likely the worst one. The physics are worse than Daytona in Mega Drive Action 52.

any one of the shovelware meme games that get shoved out on Steam every day.

I swear 99% of them are just asset flips or cheap meaningless gags to get idiots to drop 50p a pop on the most low-effort drivel you can find.

This game...

For me it was subjectively the worst birthday-gift i ever got from my aunt .

I played many terrible games and maybe even objectively worse than this game but .... this game ... it just boils up my hatred while suffering and agony spices up in this mix of dread , disgust and utter disdain of its existence .

I never liked E.T. overall and this game actually made me hate this walking telescope-ballsack with its creepy long arms with a passion .

Its somehow cheap , devoid of any soul and ... i hate it.

Wait there's more e.t games ???????? WOW

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. My parents loved to buy me edutainment games as a kid, even though I wanted fun stuff such as Mario and Zelda. They did get me some ok edutaiment games like Carmen Sandiego and the Sesame Street games, but they did get me one that was super awful.

They thought it was edutainment because it was "based on a book" but it really had nothing to do with the source material. Basically, you control Dr. Jekyll and have to move him to the right of the screen while neighbors and villagers throw stones and drop bombs (!) near you. If you get hit enough times, you get angry and become Mr. Hyde. Hyde moves to the left and undoes all of Dr. Jekyll's progress. It is truly the worst game I've played.

Edit: Oh, also AVGN covered the game.

For the most part I can find some redeeming qualities of a game. There was a game fir the GBA and it was Power Rangers Wild Force. It literally was a copy and paste job of levels. There was no challenge and I was a dumb 10 year old. Beat it in an afternoon. My mom and grandma took it back to Walmart.

Super man 64
Theaters of war on PC
Dragin age veilguard that not how any one should make a game.
Aliens colonial marines

Not the worst game I ever played but I hate allot
Final fantasy 13 story cheesy and cringe and non likeable charters

Last us II "When I play a story driven game I want a good honest story and the way Neil Idiotman butchered it made me pissed and sad very sad because I loved the first game and they just spat in my face.

Mugen souls how they made the combat insufferable and a story so mind blowingly boring.

@Elwiwi
Tbh , i dont hate E.T. for the Atari.
Its definitly not good but you can have some sort of dumb fun with it .

But this Ps1 game isnt fun in the slightest and its a maze-puzzler . Repetitive beyond believe and tedious in its worst way .

You can beat it but its not worth it .
It really makes the bad E.T.-game bloodline proud . And it doubles down on its disgusting aspects .

Edit: I replied myself out of idiocy and maybe in a very small percentage out of unintenional narcism . ::smirk1 But mostly idiocy

Many ways to read that question: worst objectively or least favorite, and played through or started it and bailed. There are many, many bad games I dropped after one or two hours, but the worst game I played all the way through is probably Enter the Matrix on PS2. Just thoroughly mediocre, but I stayed because it was "more the Matrix."

How do we know you aren't actually the Angry Video Game Nerd? Hehehe

ehm idk, to be honest i like bad games in sick and twisted matter. Even games that dissapoint me like Spyro Orange and Castlevania Judgement has bring me some joy.

Soo idk honestly, probably an edgy pokemon romhack like snakewood or something

Hard to truly say as I usually just forget about it. It's generally pretty obvious when a game is going to be a complete waste of time, but not always. For me, it's Metal Gear Solid for the PS1. Imagine fighting the janky controls the whole time, getting past feeling like a pro and then you reach a segment where a sniper rifle is needed. But the sniper rifle was hidden 2 areas back the other way.

Instant deletion. I despise a game that doesn't respect the player's time. The sequels are great though.

(also, forgot about my comment about Revengers of Vengeance. THAT was an awful experience.)
