What Retro Game Consoles Do You Own or Wish to Eventually Own?

The ones I still need are the Wii, Wii U, 3DS, PS3 Slim, OG XBOX, Saturn, Dreamcast, and the Atari Lynx. Although to be honest the times when my consoles are working normally are far less enjoyable to me compared to when I have the unit completely disassembled and am doing some modding, recapping or soldering. I disassemble and clean all of my consoles when I first get them, the only exceptions are a few handhelds my PS2, PS3, PS4 Pro and my Switch. Besides the multiple Joy-cons, I have only taken my Switch apart to replace the fan and thermal paste.

I still have my fully functional 360. I turn it on every couple of months just to make sure it still works fine.

Handheld wise, I have my original Gameboy, DS, DSi and 3DS.

I should look into getting a jail broken (or just jail break it myself) Xbox.

In the future, I'd love to buy a working Wii and Gamecube. Both consoles were my favorites growing up. Lost my original Wii to a house fire. It worked for a year before breaking down fully. same with the Gamecube

Mine are Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, CD, PS3, PSP, Gameboy Advance, Modded 3DS, Xbox 360, N64, and DSi

Wish to eventually own ?? You mean will be a dream for the rest of my pathetic life to own.

PC-engine "already expensive and need to be imported which will make it more expensive" I mean there are people in my country selling them so for 400-500 bucks a pop with no games.

Sharp x68000
PC-98
These 2 share 2 thing that will make hard to get hands of they are expensive as is. We are talking 400-800 bucks then add on top of that 200-300 bucks in shipping. I saw an American youtuber get a sharp x68000 from Japan the shipping alone was 200 bucks he said.

If I ever become millionaire it might happen but the chance of that is 1 in a google plex it will happen.

I'll admit I've been on a spending spree the past few years, and I'm at the point where I have just about every system I reasonably wanted (and a few that I honestly didn't need). I think a Sega Saturn, Master System, and Game Gear are the remaining few that I can't really play its games yet, but I'm not in a hurry to get any of them. If I could snap my fingers and have any system, it would be a Turbo Express, but they're pretty pricey.

Depending on where you live, PC Engines actually aren't too bad. I picked up a CoreGrafx about a year ago, and if you're patient, you can find them for under $100.

I live in a little shit hole of a country that thinks 400 bucks for a PC-Engine is worth it with 0 games mind you. I think the issue is they charge 400 bucks because they have to import it which means console price + import tax + shipping. But still 400 bucks my rent is 600.

100 bucks would be a steel for me but if I also have to import it then 100 + shipping and tax.

N64

What I currently own:
PS4 Pro
PSP 1000 (modded)

3ds, vectrex, pc engine, neo geo

Mostly id want pinball tables & arcade cabinets (north American & JP like an egret2)

Love to see all the varied systems people own and cherish! A couple of systems I hadn't even been aware of, or not too privy to, like the PC-98. I enjoying finding out about new (old) hardware. Awesome!

Systems I would love to get for myself are an NES, an Atari 2600, a Sega CD for my Genesis, a Dreamcast, and Sega Saturn. Oh, and an original Xbox (maybe a 360 as well?).

The systems I own:

Nintendo; Snes (x2), N64, GCN, Wii (x2), WiiU, Gameboy, Nintendo DS phat (x3), Zelda Edition 3DS XL, Switch, Switch OLED, Switch 2...

Sony; PSX (x2), PS2 (x3, though 2 slim need repairing), PSP phat, PS3, PS5...

Sega; Master System model 1, Genesis model 1 High Definition...

....and I think that's it!

I'd wish I own a Dreamcast. I had one once, but traded it, because it was collecting dust and I wanted the money more... It's probably a pipe dream because it's probably way more expensive now to get one and I would probably leave it collecting dust again.

Consoles I own:
Magnavox Odyssey 300
NES
SNES
Nintendo 64
Gamecube
Wii
Switch
Genesis
PS1
PS2
PS4
Xbox
Xbox 360
Xbox One

Handhelds:
Gameboy
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance SP
Nintendo DS
Nintendo 2DS
PSP

Also got a PC from 1999 that I don't really have the space to tinker with and get working again nor a CRT for it

Not wanting anything in particular to add to my collection, just whatever I don't have and I think would be cool. Currently I think it'd be fun if I can find an Atari 2600 specifically but I'm also not looking very hard.

Here's what I own:

Console:
Nintendo:
NES (doesn't work anymore)
SNES
N64
GCN x 2 (first one, purple, stopped reading discs back during the GCN era)
Wii U
Switch
Switch 2

Sony:
PS2
PS3
PS4

Handheld:
Nintendo:
GB
GB Pocket (screen broken)
GBC
GBA
GBA SP (screen broken)
DS (screen broken)
3DS

Sony:
PSP (unclear which version)
PSP Go

There aren't really any retro/old consoles/handhelds that I particularly want since I don't really play games in those formats anymore, anyway. All I really want is an Ayn Thor and a SteamDeck (or a better handheld PC gaming device if I see one). Anything else would just be decor, and I'm not a gaming collector or anything.

Currently I have Sega Saturn with a Saroo cart, a PS1 with Xstation, a PS2 with FreeMcBoot and a homebrew wii. Looking to add an original Xbox and a Dreamcast, after that, I think I'm done getting consoles, what more can I even get? (This isn't including the modded PS3 I have.)

I have a Sega Genesis, Game Gear, all of the Game Boys except Micro, DS, GameCube, PS2, 360, and Wii.

would love a saturn and/or dreamcast because they look way too cool

I downsized my collection a few years ago, so now I've just got a PS2 (since it was the one I used the most anyways).

Before that, I had a GameCube (which I might get again soon), Xbox, Wii, Xbox 360 and backwards compatible PS3.

I currently own a PSone, a Dreamcast, a OG Xbox, a GBA SP and a DS.

What I would like to get next is a 360, a PS2 and a GameCube and a PSP or PSVita (maybe both).

Tho I need get money and space so I could use them.

>PSP.

My PC is not strong enough to emulate it. Technically i have one but its a broken piece of shit (it turns off randomly)

>N64.

N64 emulation is so dogshit that i would rather prefer to play the real thing. I actually have an Everdrive 64 and a HDMI 64 adapter just in case i get one.

>PS3

Same as PSP, but i don't have one.

There's a store in my city called Retro Pulgas and they sell some of thses consoles. So maybe i should just bite the bullet and take a chance.

The psp issue is likely either a short in the battery, or the electrical circuit disconnects or is shorting somewhere, it's probably fixable.
N64 emulation shouldn't be bad, the main problem would likely be emulator performance on your system if you have trouble emulating psp.
Currently ares is the best emulator for n64, but it has some steep requirements for n64 in particular, at least if your on windows.
RMG, gopher65 and the retroarch core mupen64plus-next are other good ones, so you might want to give those a try.

Ps3 i can't help you with, if you have trouble with psp then ps3 is obvious.

I have too many that don't get used enough as it is. The only thing I really want are one of two of the Japanese PS2 variants that are blue, they look super cool. As it is, I have a NES, SNES, jungle green N64, GC, Wii, Wii U, Switch 1 and 2, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, PS3, PS4 Pro, PS5, 360, Series X, 2 PSPs, a Vita, Vita TV, GB Pocket, DS Lite, DSi LL, 3DS, New 3DS XL and a New 3DS LL that I need to mod. And a 3DO I found at a garage sale years ago. I don't plan to sell them, but they definitely are just collecting dust for the most part aside from the modern systems. And I have a couple RetroPies that have been neglected, though those aren't consoles of course. I did downsize and trade to a game store a lot of the retro games I had several years ago and just kept my favorites.
