I'm going Doshin the Giant. The game was so boring and tedious to play, but my opinion might be skewed because reading about the game through Smash trophies hyped me up. But when I got to finally emulate a copy it was disappointing.

It's the only game in the launch lineup to showcase a concept they hadn't figured out yet (smooth scrolling in a racing game), so that's why I mentioned it. Guess they weren't to the point where they could just delay stuff a year yet.

May I point you to Hang On on the Master System, since that's Mach Rider's direct contemporary (also you're gonna have to remove sega from your name if you slander sega much more, haha)

[edit - shit, I hit reply before I was done typing. Super Hang-On once you get up to speed, no problem with its flow to me. The early bit is a bit choppy though, yes. Though, since I *don't* have Sega in my name, even though I loved the Genesis, that launch lineup had a few duds. You could say Super Thunder Blade is the worst launch game ever and I'm 100% on board with that argument.]

I think if you're gonna compare Genesis, it's got to be with an SNES game of the same time, so you've got like... F-Zero on SNES and maybe Super Monaco on Genesis? No real competition for the movement when you throw mode 7 into the mix. I still love Super Monaco though.

Anyways, most of the more recent Pokemon games. A franchise as popular as Pokemon should have good games. It's Nintendo's most popular IP, Nintendo's known for high quality games, yet Pokemon games are often the worst games they put out. I don't get it.

I dont really know which would be the worst from Nintendo, Id have to play a whole lot of their games to start talking about it.

But I don't think it is Urban Champion, for example. I think it was an ok fighting game for its time.

I only have two games that have bothered or bored me enough: New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS (also called New Super Trump Bros. 2; the point of basing it on collecting coins that get you to 99 lives even after the second world is inexplicable), and Super Mario Wonder (which resembles Crash Bandicoot 4 in wanting to be something it never was and in weighing down the gameplay with things that could have easily been unnecessary and still been fun).

But maybe I say this because I haven't played the new Pokémon games... I don't know why people complains about them, maybe I should play some titles for Switch.

Maybe that would sound crazy but there's probably no objectively really bad first party Nintendo game so far.

By "really bad" I mean absolute trash like Atari ET, Superman 64 or Sonic 2006.

The worse they've done were mostly weird experimental games but I'll always give some flak for someone failing while wanting to innovate over a game being badly done without trying to do anything new nor original.
